Down's Syndrome: 1 in 1,174
Trisomy 13/18: less than 1 in 10,000
My age: 30
I'm honestly surprised at my DS odds. The thickness mesaured 1.28, there was a nasal bone present, so I was expecting a 1:5,000 or something. Maybe my age? I'm 30. I tried googling to find the "average" results, but they seemed to have a large variance...so I'm trying with a smaller sample size (you!)
What were your results?

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

After NT scan:
Down's Syndrome: 1:2,661

I am 38 years old. I will be 39 years old by the time I deliver. I am assuming that my age is the biggest factor in my numbers.
The baby's Nuchal Fold was 1.7. You can clearly see the 3 bones in the nasal cavity. I don't know if any limbs were short or if there was any webbed fingers/toes. I assume there weren't any since no one called from the clinic about it (my results were on a voicemail).

Trisomy 13/18: 1:10,000

We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)
Oddly enough at my last apt which was 3 weeks after my NT scan, the dr didn't share the actual results. She just said everything came back fine.
I only got the NT scan so that I could have an u/s other than the 20 wk anatomy scan, so I didn't ask any other questions about it after she said everything came back fine.
Downs: 1: 4,400
Trisomy 13/18: 1:8,000
My age: 27
Other: I have Juvenille Myclonic Epilepsy and am at a greater risk for other issues (spina bifida, anencephaly, major heart defects), so I was referred to a genetic counselor for the NT and to look at the other issues as my pregnancy progresses. Going back on Feb 21 to look for heart defects and the issues mentioned above.

Damabo - is this just NT scan or is it with the two blood draws (full integrated screening) as well? My scan-only numbers were 1 in 2600 or so, but the doctor said those would go way down after the blood results come back (assuming they are normal). I didn't get Trisomy odds, will get those after second blood results come back.
Anyway, my measurement (the "worst" one) was 2.2, but I was measured on like the last possible day you can do it, so that measurement is considered okay.
I'm 29.
I wasn't given the results the same way as everyone else (but it was a nurse talking and also apparently multi-tasking since she said she was typing too- I was a bit annoyed to say the least)-
Screen results: 1 in 10,000
Downs (based on age): 1 in 400
Trisomy 18: 1 in 1,400
Age: 31 (32 at time of baby's birth)
I was told by the nurse that the screen came back "negative." I plan to follow up with my doc because of some of the numbers being at a higher risk than with my first pregnancy. I also plan to get the additional testing done at my 16 week appointment.
Okay, I don't have results~ I'm posting b/c should I be concerned that I don't have this done yet?? My first appointment to confirm my pregnancy was yesterday (I'm a new patient so I had to wait FOREVER!). I'm 12 weeks and 4 days... my first ultrasound is tomorrow at 1:15 PM... is this something I should ask for them to do for me there? Or is this something they take your blood for (I had a whole mess of blood taken yesterday). I'm 31 (32 at delivery). This is my first so I feel pretty clueless... thanks in advance for anyone's input.
Also, while I'm at it... how do I get all those cute little tickers to show up that all of you have??
I still think I'm 24 most of the time.
I have never gotten results this specific before. My doc told me my risk factor was within normal range (not specific numbers or odds) both times. I haven't been back since my NT scan this pregnancy nor did I get a phone call. FWIW, I have 2 perfectly healthy little ladies
Down's Syndrome: <1 in 10,000
Trisomy 13/18: <1 in 10,000
Age: 28
I am still waiting for the full results for my full integrates scan.
Nuchal fold was a 1, and when the nurse called to let me know how things looked so far (based on the ultrasound) she said everything looked normal with the baby, and actually said great after we talked a bit about the placenta on my cervix probably to make me feel better.
I am anxiously awaiting my blood draw results, my test was a week ago today.
ETA: I am 33 right now will be 34 at delivery
Down's Syndrome: 1/8,800 after scan/bloodwork
(1/600 based on age)
Trisomy 13/18: 1/10,000
My age: 29 (will be 30 when baby is born)
Other: DH is ten years older than me... (Not sure if that has a huge effect).
Down's Syndrome: 1: 10,000
Trisomy 13/18: 1: 10,000
My age: 33 (34 when I have the baby)
I am so thrilled with these results because with the baby we lost last year the result for trisomy 18 came back at 1 in less than 5.
What were your results?
Down's Syndrome: 1:861
Trisomy 13/18: <1:15,000
My age: 42 (ancient by baby making standards)
Other: neck measurement was 1.6 and nasal bones were there and looked "great" - blood work came back "perfect" and my doctor isn't worried at all about DS (she said that 1:100 would have been GREAT "for my age" so 8 times better than that is amazing in her eyes - I'm pretty relieved)
Downs: 1 in 4,100
Trisomy 13/18: 1 in 10,000
Age: 33
I wont get my blood results back for a while because theyre combining them with another draw at 16 weeks.
The nt fold was 1.4. They didnt say anything about nasal bones. I assume I would have heard by now if there was a concern. I had the scan last Monday.

Other: We already have a son with hydrocephalus so this was a preliminary screening to check for other possible things. My big test will be the 20 week anatomy scan will be a full 2+ hour 2D and 3D ultrasound. Which will include an extensive check of the brain. I'm nervous but not too worried. I will just be glad when we know either way.
