Hi ladies! Good luck to my fellow 12ers Mrs. Mo and Mrs. Loos, and of course to everyone else!
As I posted below, of the 12 eggs retrieved, 11 were mature and 7 fertilized. I am choosing to focus on that fact rather than my poor quality eggs. Man it feels like a punch in the stomach to even type that out.
My ET is scheduled for Friday...at least my endometrium looks "beautiful", in the words of my RE!

Update: I start Lupron and baby aspirin tonight. Finish up BCPs on Friday. Continue with Metformin. Next Wednesday is my baseline.
QOTW: No plans. DH and I are moving into a new house this weekend. woot! We are planning to go to Vegas in May with a bunch of family members though. I'd really love to go back to Hawaii. I keep dreaming of all the stuff I ate when I was there in Oct (I'm kind of a foodie).
I had my ER yesterday and we got 12 eggs. My RE doesn't do fert reports so I'm just trying to stay as positive as possible and hope my embies are doing well. We are scheduled for a 5dt on Sunday. If for some reason that needs to change I'll get a call. I hope I don't hear from them!
QOTW: We are trying to take a trip to Colorado in late Feb. or March. I would rather go somewhere warm and lay on a beach, but my family is in CO so it's not too expensive for us to take a ski trip - free room and board! But I hope I won't be skiing;)
Hey...I will be starting BCPs on CD3 to prepare for my IVF. So if you could add me. I will be setting up my protocol appointment once I hit CD1 and will be doing my ER/ET at the beginning of March.
QOTW: Not going anywhere till Spring. Then hitting Orlando for a family vacation at Nickolodean hotel. Will also be heading up to Chicago in summer for my godson's baptism. But no where is warmer then where I already am in winter

Update: The 2ww is driving me batty. I honestly don't know what to do with myself b/c of how I don't have any appointments to go to. I am also questioning every little pain/twinge/headache/etc. Oh, also, the PIO is literally becoming a pain in the @ss.

Update: Still. Waiting. To. O. And oh so frustrated with the waiting. I am guessing more and more that I may not be starting stims until Feb 11th, instead of the 4th like I hoped. Met with RE yesterday, signed all the paperwork. Found out they will be doing ICSI b/c of DH's poor SA. Tomorrow morning is my injects class. They said they would give me my calendar then, but I am not sure how they can if I havent' O'd yet. Guess we'll see.
QOTW: Sadly no trips in our future, as much as I would like one. I don't get any vacation days (only 3 personal days) b/c I work in a school. So unless we just go for a weekend, I can't really go anywhere during the winter. We'll see what summer brings - we did a staycation this past summer, so I know both DH and I would like to do something. If this IVF cycle works (please God let it work) then I will still be plenty early enough along to go somewhere in the summer. Hopefully we can plan a babymoon!!!
No plans rigth now, I have a wedding in July, but I'd love to sneak a mini skiing trip. But I'd love more to get pregnant and go to Europe in the spring.
Magnolia, we're cheering for your embies. Hug. Don't give up on them.
MrsMo, do you knit or have any hobby? Like solving puzzles? My husband keeps telling me to read a book but I'll leave that for the 2ww.

I am on day 9 of stims. I went in for blood and u/s today and the doctor said she thinks it'll be one more day until my retrieval.
Hoping for the best. Fingers crossed.
Hi Ladies! Checking in really quickly, work is insane with classes starting on Monday!!!
I took my last BCP on Monday and start stims on Saturday. I have my first monitoring appt next Thursday 1/27.
No vacations for us this year, we are hoping to sell our condo and buy a house this spring.

IVF#3 brought us our miracle baby girl on June 26, 2012
I tried to crochet, once, but it didn't end up all that well. I am good at sewing but we really don't need anything just yet. Once I'm KU, though, I'll be making stuff for the baby's room.
Lately, I have been "keeping busy" by playing all those stupid games on FB. I also started to read but end up forgetting my book at work more times than not.
Maybe I'll pick up a word search or crossword puzzle book to get my mind off things.

Update: Last BCP will be on Friday. Can't wait to go in on sat for b/w and u/s to see if the cyst is gone and truely start this IVF cycle:)
QOTW: No vacations planned cause I had no clue when this IVF stuff would happen and if it didn't work when we could try again. Again...IF destroys my ability to plan my life;) If I could go on vacation, I'd LOVE to go on a cruise again to somewhere warm:)
Update: Today is CD1 so I'll go Satuday for my first date with the dildo cam!

Update: I'm currently in beta he!!:( You can take me off the Dec. BFP's:( Do you mind adding me to the FET cycle for Feb/March for now? I am really hoping my numbers drop before Friday's beta or I will have to have a methotrexate shot. If I have to have this shot, I cannot cycle for 3 months;( If I don't have to have the shot, we are looking at an FET in March!
QOTW: I don't think we should take a trip since we need to save all our extra $$ for upcoming cycle. If I could take a trip it would probably be to MX since I'm pricing some awesome deals on Orbitz. Who knows, if my FET in March doesn't have positive results, we may just have to get away!
Update: Started BCP's on Monday. Should hear from the nurse sometime this week to go over my calendar.

Update: Nothing to update. I'm still waiting on AF so we can start testing all over again. I did sign up to go to an IF/IVF clinic at the clinic that did my 2 previous IVF cycles. Dr. Sher is actually going to be there and I might like to ask him a little about his aacp w/ EPP protocol. This is the protocol I hoped to do, but my RE didn't want to do it.
QOTW: We don't have anything specific planned yet. I am working on setting up a trip to Disney World with my little sister and her kids for sometime in March. If IVF #3 or IUIs or whatever we choose to do is not successful and we can still afford it, MH and will need to look into taking a trip at some point, but it would likely be in May, June or July.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
FET#1: BFN

Update: Nothing much is new really. Started the Lupron on Sunday. Hopefully I'll get AF this weekend and will have my supression check next Wednesday.

Update: SO angry...I called today to see if I should order my meds as I just finished my BC. At my last appt. I was told to call on CD1. So I actually thought I was being proactive since AF has not even arrived yet. Long story short...my regular nurse was on vacation the last time I was in and didn't know we were doing IVF. Signals got crosses and this whole past month we needed to sign consents, do an injections class, and do a mock transfer, all news to me today. Now I have to wait for AF, start BC again on CD3, wait for AF again and call on CD1. Of course while also doing all that other stuff we didn't know about.
Very frustrated...but getting over it. My acupunturist suggested focusing on a my diet and exercise routine for now to help me feel in control of something. So anyone have PCOS diet recommendations? I am not really overweight but figured what the he*l.

Update: Nothing new here. A big packet of info came in the mail from the new RE's office that we're supposed to review and fill out before our apt on 1/31. I'm planning to fill everything out this coming Sunday.
QOTW: It is busy season at work now thru April 15th, so I have to work 55+ hours per week and we are not allowed to take vacation time until after April 15th. So, unfortunately, no vacation this winter. If I could take vacation, I would go to Florida with DH in March (he's going with his dad) because it's cheap so we could save up for IVF and house projects. However, if cost was not an issue, DH and I would probably go back to Maui, but not until June or July... I'm hoping I can convince him to go on a babymoon there, and I hope it is soon.

QOTW: We aren't going anywhere this winter, but we have a family vacation planned for the end of July/Aug. I am hoping this will be our babymoon!!!

Update: I am having the one and only monitoring appt tomorrow 1/22 to do bloodwork and ultrasound - and if all is good, quiet and lining is thick enough, I'll have the ET on Tuesday 1/25. Hopefully by next check-in I'll be in the 2ww!
QOTW: Nothing major planned for this winter...maybe a few weekends going to my parents house in NH to play in the snow, but that's all really. For the past year we haven't planned any major trips because we wanted to stay available for any treatments needed. With that said, we hope that we'll be able to take a babymoon someday soon, but that will be a 'last minute' trip.
