We bathe our girls together 99% of the time and since Juliet is sitting I'm certain that she would love to sit up and play with her big sister. We never had a seat with Amelia so we don't know if they're a good idea. I appreciate your input!
We did... And we're no longer using it since she started climbing out of it... If you want it, it's yours!
ETA: We also bathe the girls (well the younger ones) together and Samantha LOVED being able to play with the toys and her sister... But last month, she discovered she could climb out (a few weeks after she started walking lol) and almost fell face first in the water twice. After the second one, I took it out.

We use one with L (on my FB from last night) and she still tries to get out of it but that's only been since she started crawling at 7.5 months - and really she probably didn't try to get out of the seat until closer to 9 months.
As soon as Cooper could sit up he could climb out of the baby bath tub (and the bouncy seat, bumbo, swing, and pretty much anything else I used to put him in). So around 5 months we started bathing him sitting up in the big bathtub, I never tried a bathseat because I was sure he'd just climb out of it. I did put down a rubber no-slip mat in the tub.
My big boy is bounding towards 4! Baby brother coming in October!
hehe Samantha COULD climb out, but never got all the way out until she was walking and decided it was more fun to walk around the tub. lol (We have a whirlpool.)
We use the Safety 1st bath seat and love it. I thought once DS was standing on his own he wouldn't want anything to do with the seat but he cries if we don't use it. So, my almost two year old still uses a bath seat....and gets upset if he can't use it! Weird! Easy for me though. What's funny is that I contemplated getting it (thought we would only use it for two months, didn't want to spend the money...blah blah blah) but it's been the best $36 I ever spent on a baby item!

while visitng my sister this past weekend, she said the single best investment she bought was the bath seat for her 8 month old and 3 year old. so he doesn't try to drown his brother.
