Dear SIL i dislike you! (talk of pregnancy)

my sil calls me this after telling me she has to come over i said fine hurry up im very busy today. she shows up about 10 min later comes running at me with a stick in her hand. she had just peed on a stick and wanted me to the first one to see it! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! (it hasnt even been a week since my d&c) DH walks up asks whats going on she shows him the stick and he lost it on her. I felt a little bad for him yelling at her but not to much. She knew we lost the twins and had a d&c last week so its not like she was in the dark about this. She leaves and calls their mom who calls me up and yells at me how im not supportive or loving enough and i should be over myself by now/ Yeah right. I mean i havnt been to emotional about it because thats just not me. i grieve by staying busy and not thinking about it. So i must say I strongly dislike my in-laws (mother & sister) i keep praying for next month to come quicker so they all will be gone to Russia for a month!!!!!!!

I am so sorry for your loss.

And I am very sorry you had to put through that. I believe its important right now to put yourself first, be happy for her later. That is terrible you had to be put through that.

How totally insensitive of them both! I can't even imagine how someone would be so self-absorbed to not have your feelings in mind at a time like this. SIL sounds like a total teenager, and MIL doesn't seem much more mature than that. To suggest that YOU are the one being unsupportive or unloving is completely ridiculous. I'm glad DH stood up for you!

Thank you Buster. SIL just turned 20 last week Monday the day we found there was no heart beat. and MIL is just a witch to be nice. But Thank You again it makes me feel better that im not wanting to run out and hug her and apologize.

I would have gone ballistic on them! You don't gloat to a grieving mother that you are pregnant!

WOW!! Just wow!! I am so sorry yoh had to go through that..any one waves a pee stick in my face they are getting a throat punch. Sounds like the one who needs to get over themselves is your MIL. I am sorry they are so insensitive. That really truly sucks.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you have to put up with those two! Good for your DH for putting SIL in her place. That was an incredibly insensitive thing to do. And yeah, MIL needs to get throat punched for her comments too. I can't believe she would have the gall to tell you to just "get over it"! I hope you can find some peace during their trip to Russia. Tell them not to hurry back! Wink

Vent away honey. That was pretty douchey if you ask me. I'm finally starting to work on "forgiving" my SIL though DH's family has no idea what happened with us but the pain of knowing their pregnant and I'm not still freakin' stings.

Good for your DH for sticking up for your family. You've got someone who understands in your corner babe.
