  • If you like italian sauage this is yummy.

    1- 1 1/2 lbs italian sausage

    1 jar tomato sauce

1/2 bag of chopped up frozen peppers and onions (I use Birds eye)

    Garlic salt to taste

    Oregano to taste

Cook sausage in frying pan for about 5 minutes, flip over and cook 5 minutes

Slice sausage into rings (about 1/2 inch thickness)

Add sausage and rest of ingredients to crockpot - cook on high 4-6 hours or low 8-10 hours.

    Serve with your favorite pasta!

  • I just tried this one a few days ago and it was a big hit with my family. It's a white bean chicken chili.

Three cans cream of chicken with three equal parts water
1 1/2 cups frozen whole kernel corn
2 cans white kidney beans rinsed and drained
    1 green pepper chopped
    1 onion chopped
    4 skinless boneless chicken breast
    4 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. ground cumin

I just throw everything in together for two to three hours on high until everything is done. About halfway through I shred the chicken and I used kidney beans out of a bag when I made it (that's what I had on me at the time) and it turned out great. I also added two small chopped up potatoes.

  • Pulled pork

    3 pounds of pork roast

    1 large diced onion

    1 cup of brown sugar

2 large bottles of sweet baby rays BBQ sauce (or your fav BBQ sauce)

Put onion, brown sugar and BBQ sauce in the crock pot, stir... put pork in and cover (BBG sauce should almost cover the roast).  cook on low for 8 hours.  Pull apart (it should almost fall apart when fully cooked) and serve on rolls. I have more at home but this is the only one I could remember off the top of my head :)

  • 4 chicken breasts, 1 large can cream of chicken, 1 reg can cream of potato, 1 bag frozen mixed veggies, 5 potatoes diced.  Mix all and cook for 4-6 hours on high.

This comes out so good, and the chicken is really tender.  I served with biscuits.

  • We like salsa chicken-- chicken breast, taco powder (1 pkt), a jar of salsa and then just shred it and stuff tortillas with all of your faves.!

We do this and I add in a can of black beans and in the last half hour of cooking I throw in a bag of frozen corn.

  • We tried this one over the holidays and it was really good (and much healthier than actual buffalo wings):

     Buffalo Chicken

1 lb boneless chicken breasts or about 1 breast per person

2  cups of Franks Red Hot

1 package of ranch dressing mix

    2 T butter

Place uncooked chicken breasts, red hot and ranch mix in the crockpot and cook on low for 8 -10 hours.

About a half hour before you eat, shred the chicken and add the butter to finish it off.

Serve on rolls with blue cheese dressing or blue cheese crumbles (or both - YUM!) or serve it over lettuce in a salad (this was tasty too!).

     Also makes good leftovers!

  • I haven't made it before, but I'll be getting the meatloaf ready to chill out in the crock pot for tomorrow. I was going to post the recipe that I'm using, but can't seem to find it online.
