  • I know if she wasn't so nice I might have been tempted. It just scares me that I have these and just bc they did a cervix check and fft once that those results couldn't change over time. Just don't want this girly coming out! I think she knows she has to keep up with her older brothers! Maybe this will get me more sympathy at home....uh ya not likely!

  • I feel for you. I have an irritable uterus (I often cry from the contractions) and I was told pretty much the same thing. It get worse with each pregnancy and since I've been late with my kids they aren't worried about it causing PTL and I just have to suck it up. I was also told with third babies that labour often starts then just stops and that it's really difficult to tell when you are actually in labour (awesome Indifferent). Good luck with it.

  • I loved having timeable contractions with my first for TWO SOLID WEEKS.  Every four minutes.  Painful ones, even!  I went to L&D three times in that time (got to deliver the third one).

One of the nurses told me "sorry, there is nothing we can do- yes you are having timeable, very hard contractions from the monitors, and I am sure you are uncomfy, but you are still a 2 and 90%. "  I was like "DO WHAT!?! You won't do ANYTHING to make this more comfy?" and her response was almost funny "uhm, it's pregnancy, it's childbirth- it sucks".

    Blunt and honest!

  • Hopefully they will get better for you.  Take lots of warm baths and get some rest.

I've been using mine as a reason to get DH to baby me.  So far I talked him into making dinner tonight and letting me sleep in tomorrow morning.  At least there is a bright side :)

  • My BH's made me cry the other night.  It was awful.  Welcome to the club!
