The dresser had the final coat of polyurethane put on it today by DH. So one more day of drying and we can put it all together tomorrow! Then I'm going to start washing more clothes and putting all of the clothes and diapers away. So the room's painted, the dresser will be done, the crib will be here Jan 19-26th, the crib sheets are dyed orange. I'm planning on dying a changing pad cover or two orange too. Now I need stuff for the walls. I have collected ideas on my computer but have no idea what exactly I want other than a vintage beach/surf look... Should I post them on my blog and see what kind of feed back I get? I can't think, I have serious "baby will be here sooner than later" brain!
Re: We're getting stuff done!
Oh you ended up dying the crib sheets? How did it go? Could you get the color you were wanting?
Post the ideas on your blog and/or here, you know we all love giving our opinion lol.
That's great! It's so hard to decide, I know!
We actually got a lot of stuff done on our to-do list this weekend too. One big one was cleaning out the baby's closet and donated SO MUCH to Salvation Army today. Yay!
YAY! Loved your FB updates on the dresser, everything is going to look so nice
Can't wait to see everything all set up!
We finally got the Board and Batten painted this weekend, I still have to paint the top of the wall and once that's done I can finally start decorating and setting up this room. I think by this weekend all the hard stuff will finally be done

me too!
Post pics in your blog!! I wanna see
I'll post it on my blog, I think that's easier... unless you wanna walk me through how to PIP again! It's been that long since I've done it! I'm off tomorrow so I'll have time either way, let me know which is easier.
I did dye the crib sheets. I found the dye at JoAnn's for 40% off (so it was 1.19) and then bought two white crib sheets from walmart for $11, so it cost me about $12 for both sheets. It was SO easy and the color is great! I'm planning on dying a changing pad next to match the sheets and then we'll be done with the orange accents... or at least I think!
The crib got here last night, so it came early. I think it nearly gave me a heart attack... that means we REALLY do have a baby coming in the next 5-9 weeks! CRAP!! I'm hoping (fingers crossed) to set it up tomorrow.
