L1, D9...so close to L2!
I have to admit...I kinda "phoned it in" today. My LO has been sick and not slept through the night in over 2 weeks and it has finally caught up with me! I am hoping to catch some zzz during nap time today.
Yesterday someone commented about knowing everything Jillian says in the video...my 2 favorite lines of L1:
"I could always use a good chest fly in my life" (What a dork!)
and
"If you are looking for the modified version of a jumping jack, you're not going to get it. I have 400 pound people who can do jumping jacks" (This one generally makes me go a little faster)
I also like the one about people saying to take the stairs but that is why we are lethargic...don't know that one verbatim but still a good one.
Re: Tuesday Shredding Check In
I laughed at the jumping jack one because the first time I did the video I modified it since I was still recovering a bit (but the okay from the doctor to exercise) and the jumping jack just didn't feel right. Imagine how I felt when she then said 400 pound people could do them......
I always laugh at her buddy comment too. I find that she is pretty motivating though. Whenever she says we have to give it our all since it is only 20 minutes I do find myself pushing harder to get through!
I will have to watch today for my favorite lines : )
Praying for Baby Camryn
Praying for Baby Scarlett
Remembering Baby Adam
D7 L1 for me... think I may flirt with L2 tomorrow just to change it up a bit! I was able to increase weight on 3 exercises!! Yay! I totally understand about being tired, my little man has been up A LOT at night... makes for a tired mama... have to really dig deep to find motivation to workout. But hey, it's only 20mins, right? ;-)
The jumping jack comment makes me go a little faster too. haha I'll have to listen for the buddy comment, i guess i haven't picked it up.
I think my favorite line is "Gotta put stress on it." Haha thats the only way we're going to see a change in our bodies..."gotta put stress on it."
Today was Day 8, level 1 for me. I'm sticking to level 1 for three extra days while we're out of town. I start level 2 when we get back. I'm excited and nervous. I always feel good after doing it, even if I'm feeling lazy. But it'll be nice to feel that soreness in different muscles. Then I'll feel like I'm getting somewhere.
Good job to all you ladies! I'm really glad we're sticking with this. I was definitely unsure as to whether I would be able to stick it out, but doing these check-ins everyday really helps me push forward and stay focused.
D4(in a row) L1 for me. Techinically it's D10L1 b/c I started this in December but quit b/c I was sick for 3 weeks.
I'm finding L1 easy again, so I'm moving on up to L2 tomorrow.
I'm finally not as sore as I was.
