So had an OB appointment tonight. I asked him how much swelling was too much swelling. His response is that they aren't concerned by swelling as long as my blood pressure stays good and no protein in my urine. Then he very snidely says "And with you being obese you're going to swell more". WHOA! WTF!! Obese? I'm including a picture of me pre-pregnancy. Now, don't get me wrong, I've always had to fight with my weight, and by times in my life I have been overweight, but I've never been obese. So thanks doc for making me even more insecure about my weight gain and body changes.

1) Your doctor is an ahole.
2) You are not obese at all-- you look great!!!
3) I AM obese and I've had hardly any swelling and I have had high blood pressure, so the two are not necessarily connected at all. Don't worry about it!
