Caroline has been drinking out of a Flip n Sip for a while now but has never been too enthusiastic about the sippy and would never drink milk from it. Last weekend one of my friends had this cup
After looking at it, I decided to get one for Caroline. I knew she was interested when she was sitting in the shopping cart trying to drink from it through it's plastic wrapping (did I just say something in another post about her being a wunderkind?). When I finally gave it to her to drink out of, it was love at first site. She has been drinking anything and everything I give her from it. She carries it everywhere. This morning she didn't even nurse because she was busy drinking milk from her new sippy.
Re: Holy Sippy Success
That is awesome that you found one that she loves!!!
My MIL just commented when she came over at lunch time about Sydney having yet another sippy. I said, "Well, when I find one she likes, they will all go in the trash except for that one. And I'll buy five more of the same." The one we picked up recently is pretty good though. It is a Nuby "sport bottle". It's a hybrid between a bottle and a sippy with a soft "straw". Annoying to have to keep buying them.
If I could the money back for everything we have bought in trial and error experiments with her, I could buy myself a new wardrobe.

Caroline, will you please tell Charlie how much fun it is to drink out of a straw sippy??
So far, all that really works with us is those cheap disposable ones with no backflow control. He does well with his morning juice in that.. but that's kinda it.
We have the flip and sip too. Sydney likes it but she wants to tip it back like every other one. She doesn't understand not to - no matter how many times I show her
