Since we're moving in a few weeks my mom has been coming down to see us every weekend since Christmas. We were out all day and by the time we got home diaper laundry wasn't on my mind. DH was home with DS but he doesn't do diaper laundry.
I put him down for his nap earlier and had no diapers that I trusted over naptime so I put a sposie on him.
He woke up with poop on his face!! There was a pile of poop in the corner of his crib. It was smeared all over his sheets. It was gag worthy. It all came out of the back.
His sheets are in the wash now.
Re: I will never be behind on diaper laundry ever again
Gross. We never had major blowout issues before switching to CDs, but it would go up her back a few times a week. That's when I decided I was going to put the "we never have blowout" claims to the test and CD full time. So far, that claim has been true for us.

Haha..I know it probably wasn't very funny when you saw it..but it is a little funny, and nasty..lol I hope you don't have any more episodes like this!
On a side note..Are you guys PCSing?
It was funny after I was done cleaning him up. haha.
Yeah, We're PCS'ing to AL early next month. DH is going I&I duty so he's non deployable for 3 years. Thank God. He's been gone almost 2 out of the 3 year's we've been here.
eeek! how awful
My DD has a stomach bug and had a poo explosion up her back yesterday. She was wearing a PF and wool, so no elastic cover to keep it in. Now I'm just using a PUL cover & it has kept stuff in for us. I can't imagine using sposies and dealing with blowouts on a regular basis. Thank goodness for cloth!
I feel you. He deployed to Afghan when I was 37 weeks. It was our 2nd so I kind of knew what to expect but it was 100x harder then the first.
LO will keep you busy.
