Have we discussed no copays for well visits or am I just late?

I just got a credit for all the copays I paid from September on. It says it's part of the Health Care Reform Act.

I'm even more surprised they just sent it and I didn't have to ask them for it!

Really??? I thought the no copays were from 2011 onward. I wonder if we'll be getting our copays back....

I didn't know anything about this until I read your post. Even if it started in 2011, I've already paid a co pay this year. I tried to google stuff on it but it's all so confusing to me. Are there certain rules to who has to pay the co pay and who doesn't or does it go for everyone? If this is the case, how come my pedi's office is letting me pay it? Are they trying to get away without having to tell people that don't know? This is all very interesting to me now.

Same thing happened to me. We kept going in and each time they said we had a credit - it was from the early co-pays we payed in the first few weeks. I'm not complaining!

Interesting...we paid like $200 in co-pays for LO's weight check appts and visits, I wonder if we'll have a credit. We have her 4 month appt on Mon so I guess we'll see.

WHAT? They asked me for a copay yesterday at Jrs WCC. But we don't have to pay co-pays for them and the lady looked at me dumbfounded... Good 2 Know
