What does your LO wear at nap time?

I know, silly question! But, it seems like I'm always changing DD's clothes. I'll put her in a cute outfit with pants or jeans or a skirt with leggings/tights. Then when naptime rolls around I worry she won't be comfy napping in jeans (or whatever) and I change her into something else, not necessarily pjs. Then when she wakes up from nap, sometimes I put her back in whatever she had on earlier. So, I was just wondering...do you put LO down in whatever they happen to be wearing?

  • If we're having a stay at home day, she is usually in pjs all day anyway. Otherwise, she usually goes down in what she is wearing unless it doesn't seem comfy, then I will change her.

  • Jacob just naps in whatever he's wearing - even if its jeans.  I have one friend who changes her son into pjs.  And another friend who takes off his pants and puts on a sleep sack (even though he's almost 3).

  • She naps in whatever she's wearing for the day.
  • Whatever he is wearing (including jeans, etc.). Once he's asleep I try to take his shoes off (on days we're home with him, he normally falls asleep in the car and then we take him in). Maybe that's why he's such a bad sleeper, LOL!

  • They both nap in whatever they are wearing for the day.

If Stella has her piggies or clips in her hair, I take those out.

  • Unless we go somewhere, we don't change DS out of his PJ's.

  • He sleeps in whatever he is wearing.
  • I always change Jake into either PJ's or sweats for nap.  I hate napping in real clothes, so I feel like he would too. Also, when we're out- which is almost every day (unless we're snowed in), I feel like he has dirt/germs on him from being out and I don't want him bringing that into his crib with him.  (Jake is very active and constantly on the floor so he definitely gets very germy).  I feel like I'm constantly changing him and doing his laundry.
  • If Claire is wearing a hoodie, I will take that off due to the hood and sleeping on the zipper might be uncomfortable.  Other than that, she wears what she's wearing.  Even if we're home all day, she dresses for the day, not in jammies all day.

  • What he is wearing for the day.

  • Henry almost always naps in PJs. Some days we stay home and I never change him out of them. Some days we go out in the morning, and I change him back into PJs for naptime when we get home (and he then usually stays in them unless we go back out). Some days we stay home all morning, he stays in his PJs and naps in them, then I change him to go out.

The only time he really naps in real clothes is when he's at MDO.

  • I usually change her just before her nap and take off her pants and leave 'em off.  Put them back on after nap.

  • When they used to nap (hasn't happened in almost a month now), I changed them into comfy pants if they were wearing jeans or kakis. If they were already wearing sweatpants or cotton stretch pants they just napped in those. I put them in comfy pants because I wouldn't nap in jeans, it would be uncomfortable. In the summer, I just napped them in a t-shirt and pull up, so I took off their shorts when they layed down.

  • whatever she is wearing but its always usually something comfy

I couldn't imagine having time to change her for naps..I get tired just thinking of it..no to mention her naps are not consistent in timing...
