Mirena IUD removal questions

Hi,

I was just wondering what people felt like when you had an iud removed?

did you lose weight?

mood swings?

really bad return of cycles?

    Hi Susan!

    Congrats on Gavin!  I havent been on much, but I did see that he arrived! 

    I had the mirena put in at my PP visit at about 9 weeks...  love it so far...  a little spotting, no change in my period the first month (but my OB said it would lighten which is why I went with this for BC) ... cramping and not exactly comfy going in.... but hey....

     Hope you are all doing well and Miss Hannah is loving being a big sister!  cant wait to see pictures (did I miss them?)

    Hi!  I haven't had it removed yet, but great question, I can't wait to hear the replies!  I have loved it so far (about 7 months) :)

    I will answer for my best friend who just had hers removed.

    She lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks. Dropped it.

    No mood swings ( but i didnt ask her DH hahaha )

    Horrible cycles though, cramping is awful

     

    overall she's thrilled it's out
