s/o 2nd bday party - activities?

If the kids we are having are going to roughly be the same age and oldest 3, should we have activities/games?  Or just toys around?

If activites/games, which ones for that age?

Re: s/o 2nd bday party - activities?

  • 2nd birthday parties are easy!  Just get some ride on toys (borrow from friends if you don't have very many), rent a bounce house, and you're done!  I wouldn't bother with any other activities or games.

  • We just had toys out and played....most of the parties we went to at that age were very much the same.  Very easy....and inexpensive!
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

  • A fun thing, I think is to let the kids all make crowns.  You can get some large pieces of card stock or close to as far as thickness and cut out some simple crowns for them.  Depending on how far you want to go with the project, you can decorate with paint, markers, stickers, foam stickers are a hit at that age.  Then it also helps for all the kids to feel special.

If you want to borrow some ride on toys, we have a few foot power toys, a cozy couple, this truck

And we have a few electric toys as well.  Two little ones that seat one kiddo and go, I think, 1 MPH and then one large Jeep that seats two and has a reverse function and two speeds, controlled bh mama and Daddy (2.5MPH and 5MPH).

You're in Davis right?  We have loose plans to head down to my dad's house in Fairfield in the next couple weeks and could bring down whatever you wanted, IF you want to borrow anything to keep the little guys entertained.  Let me know, either on here or Nest Name @ yahoo dot com
