How do you feel about people updating their Facebook status on the topic of potty training their kids? (ie, yay Sasha peed for the first time on the potty! or Soo frustrated, Isaac still poops in his diapers...)
or
I realize it is a *huge* deal to most parents when they are achieving such a big milestone, but as an outsider... it's a big . I am always just surprised at how many mommy friends I have who put this crap (ha ha) on their FB. And with a surprising amount of detail.
Re: Posting on FB about potty
I don't have a problem with a "She peed (or pooped) in the potty! Yay!" type of post, the first time. When they start posting every single time the kid pees, it's a problem.
Also, I do not need to know the size, color, or consistency of the substance that wound up in the toilet.

Completely agree. In regards to FB in general, I don't need (or want!) a regular update on what is coming out either end, lol.

Thumbs down.
I think it's tacky and unnecessary, although much of what is posted on FB falls into this category
.
I was so excited, but because of what people have expressed here - I really tried to put it in very PC terms. I want to say I said something like:
"Adrian is doing really well with potty training today! YAY!"
No specific, "He pooped 3 times on the potty today" or whatever.

Big thumbs down to kid potty updates on FB
But I am not anti general kid updates on FB as I am guilty of it.
