Monday Shredding Check In

My football team lost yesterday so I had a lot of aggression to get out during my shred today...the buffalo chicken dip that I devoured didn't help either.  The cardio punches felt so good today!

Today was L1, D8 for me and I am itching to start L2 but I really want to try and do 10 days on each level consecutively.

For those on L2, are there more butt kicks in that level?  I really hate those things.

  • Worse. There's high knees. LOL. Their not too bad though.

     

    I had to miss last night due to a bladder infection . It hurt so bad to walk let alone shred. Hopefully today I will be able to. I am on day 19 and looking forward to starting level 3 on Wednesday.

  • I wasn't able to do it yesterday. Because of a family emergency, I was out of the house all day. I was actually pretty bummed and very ready to tackle day 4 as soon as LO lays down. I'm surprised I'm enjoying it since I never worked out a day in my life before!

  • Today was D13 L2 for me. I am going to stick with L2 for a little longer then try to move to L3. I am down 2.6lbs now, which isn't much but I let myself eat like crap this weekend so what do I expect? Definitely won't be doing that again!! I think my goal is to move to L3 somewhere around Saturday or Monday! I'm really enjoying my results so far.

  • No butt kicks in level 2, but the words "plank jacks" will haunt your dreams! Lots of hard plank-position moves throughout but if L1 feels easy you might want to try L2 and go back to Natalie at first. I haven't done it yet today but will edit when I do--posting that I'm going to do it helps keep me accountable. :) ETA: I did L2 this afternoon and had about the same experience as yesterday. That ab move on circuit 3 is so not happening yet!
  • I haven't done it today yet, but it will be day 7 level 1. I was so not in the mood to do it over the weekend, but I stuck to it and I'm glad I did. I was able to do toe pushups the entire first set, and those side lunge/arm raises are getting better. I am looking forward to starting the next level for the simple fact that I can nearly recite every word Jillian Michaels is going to say next. Time for a change!

    I don't know if I've lost any weight or if there's a noticeable difference. I didn't weigh myself before and I'm not sure if I'm going to after- it might just send me into a calorie counting rage. BUT, I did take before pictures and I'm going to track weekly. Hopefully, by the end, there will be a difference!

    This week we're leaving Thursday to go to AZ until Monday. I plan on doing it Thur morning and Monday night. I dont know if I should bring level two with me do there for Fri, Sat, Sun or try to do as much as I can of level one from memory for three extra days. I dont know if I'll have anywhere to do level 2. Any suggestions?? 

  • I really had to MAKE myself shred yesterday, DS has NOT been sleeping well at all = tired mama!  I am working on motivating my tired booty to shred now... will be D6 L1.  I sure hope DS sleeps tonight! haha

    Ugh, not Shredding over the weekend made for a very rude awakening today. D@mn you Jillian and your push ups! 

    But I did it. I really want to reward myself with a cookie, but I am trying my hardest not to.....

  • Hi Girls!  Because of you, I got myself the DVD.  I started today.  I knew I was in trouble when I got winded during the warm up.  Haha.  I'm devoted though to get this pouch I've been carrying around gone!  Thanks for your inspiration and I look forward to doing this with you.
