IUI #2 on hold b/c of cyst
I went in for my day 3 b/w today and they found a cyst on my right ovary (the one that had my follicle for my last cycle). Unfortunately upon getting my b/w back, my estrogen levels were 464! Therefore, we cannot proceed until it goes away... my RE told me to take my ovidrel shot which apparently helps shrink the cyst... has anyone ever heard of that?
I have to go back on the 31st to see if it's improved, but I'm pretty bummed about the whole thing:(
Me: PCOS
DH: slight MFI (morphology 3%)
IUI #1=BFN 100 mg of clomid= no response so doc prescribed 150 mg of Clomid. Resulted in 1 follie at 22. Trigger on 12/23 IUI on 12/24 (count 14 million post-wash motility grading 3-4).
January 2011 on hold due to cyst
IUI #2 5.0 MG Femara plus 75 iu of Gonal-F no growth so up to 112.5 iu for Gonal-F and then 150 iu. Resuled in 1 mature follie at 19. Trigger on 2/18 IUI on 2/19 (count 13 million post-wash motility grading 3-4) and 2/20 (count 10 million post-wash motility grading 3-4) BFP! Lost our son Joshua at 21 weeks 5 days.

Not sure what to do now. Sad and lost.
Right there with you sweetie. I had 6 of them this month. Stinks. But fortunately they do usually go away after a cycle.
And, this is the first time I have had them out of 6 cycles, if thats any consolation... I think it is kind of random....

Final IUI - Lucky #7! IUI with DS - 20.Jun.2011 - 21.5 mil motile! Not so lucky - BFFN and the end of our IF journey....
Waiting for our family to be complete through Adoption - May 2012 - Hoping our baby finds us soon!

IUI 2 was delayed for me also due to cysts. However they just had me do BCP for the month, it took care of it and we just did IUI 3 so now just 1 week into 2week wait. Good luck for it to clear up, its very common
