Do you carry your heavy DC?

I know women carry their babies while pregnant all the time but what about a 32lb child? DD doesnt always want to be carried but sometimes she does... I also always carry her from the car into stores since we live where its normal to have a wind chill of -40!

I had cramps my entire pregnancy with DD and now I have them again... they make me so nervous and I really notice them when I am carrying DD.

anyways Yes I carry her, she is 30lbs but my back has been killing me lately so I have been trying to limit as much as I can in the house etc when she wants to be picked up I tell her to hold hands and she loves it just the same

My DD is 35lbs and I still carry her at times, although she doesn't need to be carried much anymore.

DS is around 45lbs, and I still lift and carry him. He is almost five, so it is not like I'm lugging him around all day, but until I'm told otherwise, I will continue to lift him.

Yes I carry my DS. He's almost 10 months and about 26 pounds. My back hurts at times but not too bad.
