I just spent a fvcking hour and a half in the exam room at Simon's 15 month checkup!  And when I asked why, the receptionist said they were really busy today but all I saw were 4 nurses standing around with their thumbs up their asses and nobody in the waiting room!  Angry  I am beyond pissed right now!

    Yep. That was me.

    Our entire appointment was how long you waited in the exam room though. I would have been furious if I was you too. It is is ridiculous to make a toddler wait that long.

    An hour and a HALF?  That's insane!  Even if the doctor was called away for an emergency, they could have at least done the part the nurses usually do.

    I don't even know what I would do with myself, much less Ellie, for 90 minutes in an exam room!

    We have Sienna's 18 mth tommorrow & he better not keep us waiting. If he does maybe I'll send Sienna running up the hallways naked screaming. What pisses me off is it's always so cold in the room, they want your kid undressed. I know Sienna is not going to want to be undressed let alone sit still. What the hell are you supposed to do to entertain them for so long.

    I am so dreading the appt i asked DH to take off & come. He is a saint. I think he will definitely help in keeping her calm.

    Holy snikes!   So far, we've only had to wait a few minutes to see the pedi.  I'd be pissed if it was that long!

    And FWIW, I've always thought that making your appts as early as humanly possible in the AM was always the best way to go.   Less chance of them getting backed up that soon in the day.

    Yeah about that...we had a 9am appt and waited 20 minutes.  I spun Matt around on the swivel stool.

    Wow! I have never waited more than 20 minutes for a ped appt. That is not how any office that sees children should be run. They know better.

    Well this was the first time they've done that and it's not like I can switch anyway since they're the only peds office in town!  Plus I love our doctor.  It wasn't her fault, it was the nurse we waited forever for to give him his shots!
