give me work ideas

Im looking into WAH or picking up a 12 to 7am shift.  problem is im an architect and have some construction management experience.  WTH can i do to help bring in some $$.

As far as frelancing and drafting for a company im not licensed yet so i doubt a firm will hire me and why pick some mom who needs to WAH when you have millions of people who can be at work everyday.  So im thinking i need a career change for a short period?? unless someone has an idea i dont.

To be honest im bringing this up here bc my brain is so overloaded i cant think straight and need a 3rd partys advice!

TIA

Re: give me work ideas

  • I work in a hospital, and we employ awake overnight staff.  Experience is preferred, but a college degree, willingness to learn, and a little enthusiasm go a long way!

  • hmm i did think about a hospital but i just wondered what on earth i would do with a 5 year architecture degree in a hospital hahaha
  • How hard is it to get your license?  Could you start your own business doing small projects?  I bet there are a lot of people doing home improvements who would like giving business to a mom and would feel more comfortable talking to one.
  • well its 9 tests and in total it all costs $1K  which i def dont have.

Now that you think about it i dont need a licence to be a consultant to homeowners and use my previous employer to do the construction work bc he has a MDHIC license.  hmm this might work... now how do i go about finding enough people who need renovations in this economy.  ugh why is nothing ever easy??
