I found one on Craigslist for $70, my question is it something worth buying new or would used be ok?

Mine was used. Perfect condition and now I'm trying to sell if for almost as much I paid for it. Just check it out before you buy it.

i bought mine used to at a consignment shop. Just make sure it comes with the nylon straps/plate to attach it to the bed, otherwise you will have to order it from the company for another $20.

(i bought mine for $40 and then needed the straps so it ended up being $60).... then i needed the legs to make it taller too so that was another $20

Mine was used - we bought it for $40 I think. The other thing to confirm is that they have the sheet that came with it (Arms Reach doesn't sell replacements). I am glad we bought used, FWIW.

We bought replacement sheets, are you sure they don't still sell them? We had the tan one that came with our CS, then bought a brown one and a pink one to have backups. //

Yeah, same here. We have several sheets. I think one is Eddie Bauer even (def not AR!).

I used my sisters and it was perfect, she plans on using it for her next one as well. We had the sheet issue also but found from several different message boards that a king size pillow case fit perfectly and was long enough to fold under so it was still a tight fit

We bought ours used at a consignment shop for $60. I just checked it out really well, put it up and down a couple times, and made sure it had all the parts. It seems to be in "like new" condition and I'm happy with it so far. I know they sell the sheets at BRU, so it can't be that hard to find them other places too. HTH
