Tips to stop same duct from getting clogged?

I have a duct that continues to get duct. Any tips to prevent it from happening? From what I've read, i would say it's just getting clogged at the nipple. It's still a royal pain to get rid of. OUCH!!!

    Get some Lecithin. take it 3 to 4 a day. My LC gave some to me b/c I was having the same issue.

    Have you tried a really warm/hot shower? My right side got really clogged in the beginning and I noticed after a hot shower that it really helped things out :)

    I did that the first time and jumped out to nurse immediately. When it happened again I read a lot more and tried a couple suggestions for one the duct is right at the nipple. I immersed the nipple in warm water and poked the duct with the tip of a sterilized needle (I put a flame to it) and nursed. I did that the second and third time I got a clogged duct and it was much easier and faster. Putting the tip of the needle in hurt a lot less than all the nursing I had to do the first time after the warm showers.

    Grrr. It's always the same duct. I'll need to try lechtin.
