baptism party site

I'm looking for somewhere to have a baptismal party. Either a room that we could rent or a *reasonable* restaurant/hall. I'm looking in Little Italy, Greektown or South Loop. I'm totally up for renting a banquet room & doing catering...just need the room. DS was born in June so we had an outdoor party for his. DD was born in Dec, so it's too chilly to have her's outside in mid Feb.

    I'm not familiar with those areas but if you'd be willing to drive a bit, European Chalet, (I55 & Harlem) has decent prices and good food.  I'd also look into renting a space at the park district.

    Pompeii (sp?) on Taylor St has a nice back room you can rent out.  Don't know about prices, but the food is tasty

    We had baptism party at Marcello's on North Ave.  It's not quite in your area but it is close to expressway and offers great party packages and a huge parking lot (we had lots of family coming in from burbs).  The staff was also very easy to work with while planning and very attentive to our needs.

    Oh and it was a reasonable price at $17/person (included appetizers, salad, family style dinner, and dessert).
