Hi Ladies,
I'm a lurker coming out of hiding. MH and I have been TTC #2 for a year after a chemical pregnancy. We have a daughter who is almost 3, and we had no trouble conceiving her. We've been TTC for a year, using OPKs for about 7 months, and charting BBT for 3 months.
I saw my OB/GYN 2 weeks ago for a yearly, and she recommended doing b/w. I went in on CD 21 (which was 3 DPO for me) and my progesterone levels were 5.9. They also checked my LH and FSH (LH was 11, FSH was 5.9). I was a bit confused bc i thought LH and FSH were checked on CD 3. I just called for my results and the admin told me my results were "normal" but the Dr wrote "possible PCOS" on the form.
I'm waiting for the DR to call back and explain, but have any of you heard of normal levels but possible PCOS? My chart is looking really good this month (or so i thought), I was feeling very optimistic this month until I just got off the phone with my results. :-(
Re: Intro
Welcome, although sorry you have to be here.
I would definitely try to ask your OB about the PCOS diagnosis. Especially if you seem to be ovulating regularly based on charts and OPKs. I don't know about the timing of the LH/FSH in this case, but normally they are checked on CD3 to assess ovarian function. Hopefully all is for naught though, and this month is the one for you!
