so i had a swollen gum area and went in to see my dentist, he scraped around it and got the swelling down, and recommended that I rinse with Crest Pro Health mouthwash...
So these last couple days, i have...
and this AM, i woke up and my mouth felt super dry and some parts of it stung..and sitting here at work, im munching on some Cheetos, when im thinking to myself, strange...it's like im sick, i can't really taste these at all.
Google search later..and it turns out there's been lots of consumer complaints about the stuff and how it will either stain your teeth brown (ew!) OR mess with your ability to taste food!!! OMG!
NO MORE FOR ME! >.< i better get my taste buds back ASAP.
Re: NBR: do NOT use Crest Pro Health mouthwash..RANT
Its the stanous fluoride that stains teeth brown, so any tooth paste with stan ous fluoride will do that. There is an ingredient in the prohealth series that for some reason causes tissue irritation, and can cause your tissue to slough off.
I think you should just stick to warm salt water rinses and brushing regularly.
ETA: Corrected spelling.
it hasn't stained mine, but im not using it any longer so i don't know if it would have had i continued....
but that is some gnarly sh*t!!

THIS always happened to me, and it was nasty!!! I highly dislike Crest in general, but this line is the worst of the worst in my book.
