I rarely C&P but I truly hope this poster changes her perspective before she delivers and comes to this board. Either my reply was on-target or I'm just bitter because I was too lazy to exercise during my pregnancies.

Please don't go flame-broil her, but perhaps you'd like to weigh in:

I can see where she is coming from.. but the way she said it sounds high and mighty.
Exercise does make your body stronger for labor and helps with some symptoms (not that I really did it). But, not everyone feels like exercising when they are pg. I guess it is a cycle.
100x this.
I'm also not of the gym is my life persuasion, but I know people who are and they still workout 4 or 5 times a week as soon as they get the clear from the doc (or even a bit before that if htey are feeling up to it). They didn't let the excuses I used get in their way...too tired from no sleep, worked all day and wanted to spend time with my kids, etc, etc...they found time and made it work.
I am 10000x envious of those people.

Does this count when you are pg with twins and have a 4 month old?
Oh and what about those moms who are on bed rest?
I'd bet she's like the woman 4 doors down from me. I saw her power walking one morning with her DS in a stroller. I noticed that she was pregnant, looked about 6-7 months, tops.
Two days later I saw her mom walking her son down the street, and found out that the baby was born the day before, full term!!! Then I saw the neighbor the next day.
I was so not ready for major power walking 2 days after delivery. (C/S notwithstanding).
