So on Tuesday I went in for bloodwork and ultrasound and they found 9 cysts. The largest being 4cm and another measuring 5cm. They have me currently on birth control pills. So hopefully next cycle we will be set to go. Has anyone ever had that many cysts? Any idea how long they take to go away?
Oh yeah and dh told me Tuesday night that he thinks we should just do one more IUI and then try to save enough money to just do IVF. Our doctor does some kind of deal were you pay approx. $20,000 for 3 IVF's. So probably by the year 2020 we should be able to save enough. Seriously I have no idea how long it will take to come up w/ this money. I'm completly crushed thinking that this next IUI could possibly be our last chance to have a baby. ![]()
Re: No IUI this month:(
I'm sorry that you had to cancel this cycle.
I sincerely hope you don't have to move to IVF. You're fortunate to have the 3 for $20,000 option! I wish our RE offered that!
Edit: When I reread this it sounds snarky and I totally don't mean it that way. Best of luck!

Didn't read it snarky-ish at all:) The 3 for $20,000 is a great option I agree but we are completly oop and every penny has to be paid upfront:(
Sorry to hear about your cysts. My 1st IVF was delayed due to a cyst, so I feel your pain. I only had 1 cyst, so I don't know how many cysts are normal, but I've read about other ladies on here having several at once. I hope your IUI does the trick and you don't need to worry about saving 10 years for IVF. Best of luck!!

Oh good! Have you looked into medical financing programs? We are still on the IUI track from right now, but we're researching IVF as we go. I know there are programs where you can borrow the money (at a decently low) rate. DH and I loathe debt, but have discussed this as an option since most clinics do make you pay the entire amount up front.
Just a thought! We have no clue what we'll do when/if the time comes either....

I haven't looked into anything yet. But thank you! I was at a loss as where to even begin.
