With the twins, we had the anatomy scan and the nurse put the sex in an envolope. Tha we waited 2 weeks after that for my DH's birthday. I thought I was going to die slowly not opening up that envolope.
But we got to find out that we were having a boy & girl from my DH's birthday cake with all our friends and family.
We will most definitely find out. I don't have that kind of self control or patience. I think it is great though if you can wait until delivery.
Husband thinks it is a boy. I am not sure. I am usually wrong anyways. I am hoping for girl but it would be alot of fun (and way cheaper/easier) to have another boy.

Interesting I've always heard people talk about how your belly is (more on your hips, higher, etc) to determine if you're having a boy or girl, I'll have to pay attention. I think if the u/s comes up and it shows twins, I'd want to know. That would be too hard not to know with double the babies
Both DH and I want to find out. We just can't get past our curiosity. DH's brother and his wife are having their second and they've let be a surprise with both pregnancies.
Definitely team green here! I'm a huge, huge planner, but I don't see much to plan around gender. I'm not one to paint a room pink or blue (it will be green) and I'd prefer gender neutral stuff anyways in case we have #2. Plus I'm told we'll get less clothes and more stuff we need at our shower.
The biggest reason though, is because I think it will help me through labor that much more. I'm such a wuss when it comes to pain, I think I'll need the extra incentive & surprise to look forward too Our family and friends don't usually find out either, so it's the norm for us.
i'm finding out. this is a lame reason, but i want to know if i can go ahead and sell off all of the clothes from when ds was a baby in the yard sale this spring or keep them for this baby. and i'm impatient and dh doesn't want to put up with me not knowing. lol. he knows me well.

We will definitely be finding out! My DH asks me everyday what it feels like. I tell him that I have a steady feeling of blue, but once in awhile I get really big pink surges. So overall, I can't really lean one way or another.
Right now, I am dealing hyperemesis gravi-something so we are just praying for a healthy baby.

I've been trying to pay attention to my body to see what I "feel" like it is too. Not sure what hyperemesis gravi- is but I pray for a healthy baby for you as well.

Hyperemesis Gravidum is excessive vomiting caused by pregnancy. I hope you are feeling better soon!

I wish we could find out! We live in an area where you aren't told. Period. Tough for two planners like us! Although, on the other hand, it was so much fun to not know until DS was born ... it just wouldn't have happened that way if we had any choice in the matter.

DH wants to find out, I do not. We have talked about this for a while before even getting pregnant and cannot come to a resolution. We have a while more to sort it out.
Finding out is kind of a compromise for us. I didn't really want to, but DH does, so we are going to find out but keep names a secret until after the birth.

Where do you live where they wont tell you? You've peaked my interest!
We talked about it for a minute the other day and both said we'd kind of like to know. We haven't decided for sure if we're going to find out or not though. We've got a while to decide!

We are definately finding out. We have to figure out if we need to redo the nursery. So far everyone we have told is betting its a boy. I'm on board with a boy vote because it is totally different from my last pregnancy.
We're definitely finding out; I can barely stand the thought of waiting 14 more weeks! Based on my lack of symptoms, my friends think it's a boy, but I actually have more of a feeling it's a girl.

Small town in Northern Canada In Canada it isn't nearly as common, there are a lot of places that they won't tell - as it isn't part of the medical procedure. Many people end up going to other towns to find out ... but for us, the nearest one is over 4 hours away ... so unfortunately not happening.

Some days i think we will find out and other days, we won't. With DD, we found out but didn't tell anyone. We kept it a secret from our families. Might do that again. Was fun keeping it just between us. DH's family is dead set against us finding out (which made is a whole lot more fun that we knew!).

We're going to find out. DH really wants to know NOW, but I have always wanted to wait....we're compromising :-)
Anyways - this way I can get the clothes ready and get letters to have the baby's name on the wall. The nursery is all done, so that's gender neutral (yep....I've been wanting a baby for quite some time!)

I'm way too much of a planner to not find out! With my last pg I was really torn, but with everything that happened I want to know every little thing I can about this baby. The countdown to 20 weeks is soooo far away though! Right now I have to get to the first u/s. Baby steps!
Married August 20th, 2005 to the love of my life.
1st BFP August 6th, 2010. Missed MC discovered at 13 weeks.
2nd BFP January 5th, 2011. Beautiful Harper born September 28th, 2011.
3rd BFP March 15th, 2013. Treated with methotrexate for ectopic pg at 7 weeks.
4th BFP August 2nd, 2013. Sweet Micah born sleeping at 21 weeks with full T13.
5th BFP July 1st, 2014. Praying for a healthy, full term rainbow!
We will definitely be finding out. We are too impatient and I don't love a ton of gender neutral things (outside of bouncy chairs, swings, etc.).
I have toyed with the idea of doing a gender reveal cake with just immediate family, or doing it at our shower, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold out very long, lol.

We do not plan to find out. I told DH it was his decision (because Dad's don't get to make many decisions along the way), and he said he wanted to keep it a surprise; like nature intended.
I'll want to find out. I did with DS. This pregnancy is shaping up to be almost exactly like with DS, so, we're thinking its another boy. We shall see. Since DS was a September baby, it will definitely be convenient if baby is a boy - we not only have tons of clothing, but they are all the right season!

Definitely not finding out. I think that this is one of life's greatest surprises. And, I don't really care either way if it is a boy or a girl. I am also "a planner" but I don't see how gender would affect my planning. Like other people had said, I won't paint a room blue or pink anyway and people will give you that stuff once the baby is born. Team Green!

Although, I am pretty sure it's a boy

Props to you! Just like last time I NEED to know!
DH insists that I am having a girl this time because of how overly emotional I am already. I really don't know what to think yet.

I can't wait either lol I'm way to impatient.
We're going to do the gender reveal cake (like Autumn mentioned) and find out in front/with a few of closest friends and immediate family.

Same. Hearing everyone's guesses the whole pregnancy was so much fun (and kept time moving quickly)!
