Right now, we have DD in a infant car seat with 2 bases, 1 in each of our cars. We have 2 convertible car seats for DS, 1 in each of our cars. I bought a car seat last year from a girlfriend that would match one of the convertible car seats. DD is getting heavy, and we will need to buy another car seat. Do we buy another convertible car seat for her, or do we buy a toddler car seat for DS? He is tall, 38" @ 2 1/2 years? A co-worker of mine said she wouldn't waste the money again on a toddler car seat if she had to buy it again, but just make him sit in the convertible until he is ready for a booster.
What have you mommies with older children done? And if you have recomendations for car seats, let me know. Right now we have the Evenflo triumph and titan.
Re: Car Seat advice!
Right now we have 2 convertible seats that Jason is using right now and a baby carseat with 2 bases for Erin. Jason barely fits into his convertible with his coat on (he weighs 36 lbs) so we got this booster for him (didn't install it yet) on Fri:

This seat can also be used for toddlers.
Erin will be using Jason's convertible seats once she outgrows her baby carseat.
