Just wondering how good of shape you need to be in to begin this? I checked out the back/chest dvd a little while ago and was like HOLY CRAP! lol How in the world do you keep up? I mean I could have hung in there pre-preg but I dunno now! haha Did anyone start this w/out being in decent shape first? Need some encouragement - planning to start after 30 day shred...

You have to be in decent shape if you want to make it through the videos from start to finish 7 days a week. I wouldn't let that discourage you though, you can start by just doing what you can and gradually build up to doing the workouts the full way through. The nice thing about the program is that it allows modifications and is overall very encouraging.
If you are seriously out of shape, you should try to build up at least some stamina before you get going to prevent injury. It's a hard program, but it's so worth it!
I was already pretty fit when I decided to start. I was running and also was doing pilates, yoga and had finish the 30DS a few times. I still felt challenged when I started P90X.
Tony Horton does tell you to do as much as you can. There were definitely moves I didn't think was possible for me to do that I was able to by the first few weeks and it's a great feeling when you realize it was possible after all.
Give it a try, you might surprise yourself. GL!
