What part of this sentence do you think H didn't understand?

"Ask your mom if she'd be willing to come and stay in September so we can delay day care until October."

He actually said to me, "oh, I didn't know you wanted me to ask her if she could come in September".

Seriously dude.  

This is the same man who called me on the way back from getting my chicken strips to see if I said I wanted any dipping sauce.   I told him 4 times before he left that I wanted sweet and sour sauce with my chicken strips.

    I just shared that with MH! He's classic for doing things like that. I think he feels better knowing that he's not the only one that doesn't always pay attention. Btw, he loves telling me that "he's too broke to pay attention" so darn funny. But thanks to your vent, he seems to get my frustration more now. I think knowing that somebody else would be annoyed has enlightened him lol.

    Men do not listen to women! It drives me crazy. I'll tell my husband a whole story then he will look at me and just say, "what?" My dad is the same way!!

    Lol!!!  It really must be a male thing.  They just can't seem to listen.  I said to MH, "I want to stop by the GMC dealership near here instead of the one near our house".  He pulls into the Ford dealership.  I say, "Why are we here?"  He says, "You said you wanted to stop by here."  I say, "I said the GMC dealership."  He says, " I thought you meant Ford."  WTH?

We were out of town and I saw earlier where there was a Krispy Kreme (which I don't have where I live) so I told H Can you stop at the Krispy Kreme on the way, he says yes and drives right past it. OK We'll stop on the way back a little irrated but I'm still getting Krispy Kreme. On the way back, he drives right past it! I went off! I was so pissed. I was pissed because he didn't listen and even more pissed because I felt like a fat ass for getting so upset about doughnuts! I actually cried. lol yes cried. But now we know why.

    I see you picked the name Grayson! That is my dream name for a baby but my husband absolutely hates it! I love it.

    LOLOLOL!!  Oh, it's ok.  I don't play around about Krispy Kreme either.  Especially if the hot light is on.  That is some serious business there.  lol.

    Last week I called DH who was home from work.  I said, "chop up an onion so I can use it to make dinner".  I got home, he had forgotten to chop the onion.  

    Seriously, our child is doomed...

    Ok I have to tell a story about DH. It was before we were married. His family sent him out to pick up McDonald's for supper. He ordered and paid and then drove off without the food! lol He realized and went back to get it after a short distance but it was a classic story they retell.

    This!  Seriously, I can walk into a room where DH is and start talking, talk for probably a full 5 minutes and walk out and he would have never known I was even in the room. ugh.

    Hmmmmmmmm hot Krispy Kremes!!! And just so you know, I cried when my H forgot to get off the expressway so I could get one.  I didn't care. :)

     This totally happened to me too! And I don't even like donuts!! That's when we should have known.

    I agree about hubby's not listening.  Mine says to me "Why do you repeat yourself to me?"  I said "Because apparently you only hear 50% of what I say, so I repeat to make sure you get IT ALL".  MEN!  :)
