I think I'm going to sign up for Amazon mom and order Lane's Up&Up diapers from Amazon to keep me out of that store. With our new budget, I will have no business going in there. I swear that is where a ton of our money is blown.

Re: Farewell, Target. I will miss you. (and Amazon Mom help please)
Well crap. Can't even get eligible for free shipping, so it isn't worth it. Boo!
I may just have to send MH to buy them. He has more self-control in there than I do.
I might try them. I just remember them being stinky/perfumey (I'm super sensitive to smells--when Pampers introduced Dry Max I about went nuts trying to figure out what the chemical smell coming from the diaper bag was).
This, except I also use swagbucks and usually end up getting about $10 in Amazon gift cards each month, so I end up getting 180 diapers for $14.50 with that. That's enough to last me the entire month even with twins.
How do you earn the swagbucks (and feel free to PM me an invite if it earns you stuff)?
I guess I'll buy a small thing of Luvs tomorrow and try them out. I refuse to buy Pampers, and am not a fan of Huggies. I've been diehard Up&Up for awhile now. I can get a month's worth for $20 which isn't bad.
However you do it, you found your "weakness" and you've made a plan. I vote Awesome.
And Target is a black whole of death to me. I have no intention of going in there, my car somehow gets into the turning lane, next thing I know I'm outside the store minus $75.... I don't know how it happens.
I didn't like the Luvs, but Pampers Baby Dry are a little cheaper per diaper than Up&Up after the Subscribe and Save discount at least for size 5s. Amazon had a $1.50 off coupon floating around a couple days ago when I last ordered too. Depending on where you live, you may not have to pay taxes on Amazon either. I save money by staying out of Target by itself.
Last time I checked size 5s per diaper were:
Target Up & Up $.2098571 $14.69/70
Luvs Amazon $.163333333 $24.50/150
Pampers Amazon $.18016025 $28.11/156
Swagbucks is basically a search engine that earns you points randomly when you search things. There are other ways to earn points too like taking surveys and stuff, but I just use the search engine 99% of the time. It's totally free, and then you use the points to "buy" things like Amazon gift cards.
If you PM me your email address I'll send you a referral thing if you want. I can't find just a referral link to send you, though I'm sure there's a way somehow.
ETA - Never mind I just found a link I can PM you. You'll have mail in a minute.
This is how I order my diapers too. I use swagbucks to get the amazon gift cards. you only need 450 points for a $5 card.
for amazon mom you get 15% for signing up, then another 15% for using the subcribe and save option (you can cancel at any time). Then if you find a green insert coupon code in any issues of parents, american baby or fit pregnancy you can get an additional 20% off!
My first transaction I also had a $10 off coupon for anything in the baby story that was stackable with the 20% coupon, so I got a 234 diapers for .03 a diaper! It was $42 and I paid $9 for it! Free shipping too!
The latest I got it down from $22.00 to 7.74. for the 84 ct pamper swaddlers. So I use my swagbucks and so it really cost me 2.74 out of pocket. NOT bad at all!
I highly recommend swagbucks if you'll be doing your diapers from amazon!
