MIL likes to give C a treat every time she sees him. (Think Little Debbie, $1 store garbage, etc). DH breeched the subject (again) that we don't want him eating that garbage.
What brand treats could someone find in a regular grocery store that are a little healthier? Or even what would you recommend?
We want to just give her a list. I don't mind him getting treats, but I would rather it not be some of the worst over-processed crap.
Re: Treat Brands
How about that Nature's Promise brand that Giant sells? Organic, affordable, junk-free.
Clif Bar "Z" Bars for kids (Honey Graham, Choc. Chip, S'Mores) No processed sugars, has protein and vitamins, and they're yummy!
Frut'a'Bu fruit snacks and rolled fruit--made with real fruit and no corn syrup
Earth's Best Organics sells Sesame Street-themed cookies and such

I got a gigantic container of organic animal crackers at costco for $7 or $8. We still haven't gone through them. There are some yummy organic (or all natural) cookies that starbucks sells - kind of like shortbread (really buttery) - they come two to a package and I know I've seen the brand other places... just can't recall the name.
Graham crackers w/ nutella? Or just cinnamon graham crackers? Some kind of organic/healthyish cold breakfast cereal? All natural fruit gummies?
I was going to suggest this as well. I buy their organic fruit leathers occasionally. They also sell Annie's brand, so you could suggest the honey or chocolate chip bunny crackers or the bunny fruit snacks.
