having a colonoscopy tommorow and I am miserable....

I am beyond starving and I can't eat until at least 4:00pm TOMMOROW. That's it. Just need to vent and scream because my stomach has begun to eat itself.

    Are you allowed clear liquids?  At least jello would be like eating and might fool your stomache.

    I had one last May.  IMO, the prep was worse than the procedure. Have you started the golytely?  You have to drink so much of it that you won't be hungry anymore.  I feel for you. If it's any consolation, your clothes will be a little loose after all this is over.

    Dhd has had two and the prep was the worst part. GL it will all be over soon. :)

    I've had one mug of broth for lunch...Just started drinking the stuff. Ugh, I have some lemon jello in the fridge but i'm kinda feeling yuck after the drink so I'm not sure I'll even need it. I just have to make sure I have enough toilet paper!! :-)

     Oh and DH has been at work since 3 so I have to take care of Fletch myself in between running to the bathroom. Of course he will want to come with me.....fun fun fun.

    I had a colonoscopy the week before I got pregnant?NOT fun.  I actually puked up the Miralax I had to drink. I usually have a sensitive stomach and that's why I was so surprised to not have any morning sickness.

    Anyway, I feel your pain. I was STARVING.  After my procedure (which also included a endoscopy), DH took me for iHop.  Mmmm.

    I am sorry!  I had to do that same prep for a surgery.  I wouldn't wish the prep on anyone but it will be over tomorrow and like the PP, your clothes will fit a little better.

    Hope you survived that nasty drink. Blah!!!!!!!!!!!! My memories are sitting on the toilet with a bucket in my hands! Gross stuff lol! Now I can't drink lemon lime gatorade because it gives me flashbacks. Hope everything turned out ok.
