I'm curious if anyone is hoping for twins? For some reason, I always dream about having twins and I kind of long for it. Although I cannot imagine how hard that would be, especially since I already have a toddler. It makes me tired just thinking about it.

this!!
This is exactly what H wants. He thinks it would be great to do the years of not sleeping only one time, but still get our two kids.
Twins do not run in either of our families, so it is not likely to happen.
Twins would be a lot of work but fun!
My friend has a miscarraige and then got pregnant with twins shortly after. It is strange how that works out.
I would love twins! DH has already asked if I could try and keep it to one baby at a time, lol. His sister has twins and he got to experience first hand how much work two babies at once can be. The work doesn't matter to me, it would be wonderful to have two babies
Since we're now starting treatments, DH and I have talked about the possibility of twins. He has always wanted twins. After doing the newborn thing with one child, I can only imagine how i.n.s.a.n.e it must be with twins, but I want them anyway.
Also, if we had twins, it would mean that I get to be a SAHM - we definitely couldn't afford to pay for 3 kiddos in daycare/before-and-after school care.

DH and I are in agreement that we would really rather *not* have twins. We would like to have more than one child but two at the exact same time seems pretty daunting. I'm taking Clomid currently so we know that there's a chance of twins. We've agreed that if it (twins) happens, we'll manage it and of course, will fall in love with both babies... but frankly, we're hoping it doesn't!
BFP 1/18/11, EDD 10/1/11. Born at 37w5d on 9/15/11.

Whenever I go in for an u/s at my RE's the screen is always on and the last picture from the woman before me is always up. Twice I've sat down, looked over and seen babies in the pictures. The first was a single and the second time it was twins. I couldn't help but feel like the twin u/s looked so much more complete and full than the first one.
Ever since that day I've been hoping for twins. Maybe it's because I already have a DD [that took 20 months ttc] and am having trouble getting pregnant this time as well. I'm not sure I want to go through this for a third pregnancy. So twins this time would be great.
Like the PP said... Only time will tell!
I would love twins. My husband and I talk about it a lot actually. Twins are in both of our families so we think it would be really awesome to add to the trend. The thought seems overwhelming, especially since we live in a 1 BR in NYC. We could fit one crib in our apartment without having to move for a bit, but two... I don't think so. It would mean a lot of rearranging, but we would make it work if we were blessed with two.
Right now, I'd be happy just to have a BFP for one!
I would actually love to have twins. MH and I would love two kids, a boy and a girl, but we waited longer to TTC (and it is taking longer than we thought), so who knows if we'll have time since I am about to turn 35. I know it is twice the work, but we have lots of family. We have twins in both of our families, but I don't know what the odds are.
I'll be happy with whatever we get, but twins would be great!
MH has always wanted twins.
I'll take whatever we can get?

We would love twins. I am a twin myself. my younger brother and sister are twins (my mom had 2 sets) my husbans family down line was a twin (think was his great grandma) and were starting fertiltiy treatments
If you want twins, save your money now, and check your insurance coverage very carefully! This pregnancy has cost about $50,000 so far (and we didn't need fertility treatments), I have at least 4 doctor appointments a week, and I can't count the number of times I have driven home in tears being warned that we may lose one or both of the babies. I'm getting close now, and things are looking pretty good, but this is nothing like the peaceful, simple pregnancy I had with my DS.
For those of you having a difficult time conceiving - I wish you the happiest, healthiest pregnancies full of nothing but joy!
