I asked this a month or so ago and it was fun to see the responses and range of things that our LOs are up to, so I want to do it again.
Height/weight: 26.6lbs, and about 32 inches... we haven't been in for his 15 month appt yet.
Walking status: Jackson is walking... actually running from room to room. Man I miss the Exersaucer days.. I didn't know how good I had it.
Teeth: 11 or 12 at last count
Naps/ Sleep: Still taking 2 per day, but seems to be beginning to cut one out.
Communication: Speaking in toddler speak. He kind of sounds like he is saying "yabba dabba doo". He points at things and wants me to tell him what they are, but he doesn't say much more than "mama", "dada", and "hello".
Misc: He follows directions if I ask him to take something to someone or into another room. He can also get on and off the couch the proper way without diving off head first. It is also fun to watch him play with his toys the way they are meant to be played with, like his cars, books etc.
Re: What is your (around) 15 month old up to?
Avery sounds very similar...
Height - around 33 inches
Weight - around 29 pounds (has his 15 mo appt on Tuesday)
Walking / Running everywhere. He's very mobile - can climb on and off the couches, can almost climb up into our very high bed on his own, and can get down on his own. Goes up and down the stairs (on his stomach, feet first).
Teeth - 8 fully in, 3 or 4 more part-way in, and starting to cut a couple more
Napping - takes 2 naps some days and 1 nap other days. But he's never been a good sleeper, so his naps are usually only 20-30 minutes.
Communication - tons of "toddler-speak" but not really any words that are understandable. He points at stuff and says "dah" a lot. Can sign "all done," "more," and a few others.
Misc - he's starting to understand toys as they are meant to be used.
Height/weight: 19/20 lbs? I haven't had her weighed since November (was 18.5 lbs then). I have NO idea how tall.
Walking status: Not walking on her own. Will walk holding on to something or my hand. Can take 2-6 steps on her own at a time, but plops right down quickly.
Teeth: 7 that I can see. I think she's been teething this week though.
Naps/ Sleep: 1 nap, usually at 2/3 pm ish. Sleeps 10pm-10am, which works just fine for us!
Communication: Says "Da" for dad, "Ja" (I swear!) for Jackson, "nana" for banana, and "nigh nigh" for Night Night time. Sometimes she gets frustrated if I dont understand what she wants.
Misc: Since the baby got here, she's been VERY cuddly and nurturing to her dollies. She gives more and more kisses and cuddles. She even seems protective of Jackson.Walking status: J has been walking since 10 months so I am used to it
Teeth: 11 with 12 coming in
Naps/ Sleep: 1 nap and still not sttn
Communication: She only has about 10-12 words, but she is constantly "talking"
Misc: She is all about climbing. And going back and forth putting all her toys on the couch so she can climb up there. Also is finally giving momma some love. She gives un-prompted hugs and kisses
Height/weight: 18 lbs, 4 oz as of Jan 7 (his monthly weigh in) - we are now ON the growth chart....woot! 28 inches at his 12 month
Walking status: Cam is walking everywhere and is getting really good at stopping, squating down and standing back up. He can also carry things. I love to watch him toddle. He just really started going in the past month so it still kind of takes me by suprise to see him go walking by.
Teeth: 6 (4 top, 2 bottom)
Naps/ Sleep: 1 nap around mid-day (usually last 1 1/2-3 hours) , sleeps 11-12 hours at night
Communication: Speaking in toddler speak. His "definate" words include: "hi, bye, mama, dada, thank-you (ank-oo) and uh-oh (his favorite!). He can sign "more"
Misc: He has begun to follow basic commands. He can go down the stairs by turning and crawling down backwards. He has a new found fascination with climbing (help!). He just recently started to eat well at meal times again (YAY!).
Height/weight: 23lbs, and about 31.5 inches... she is tall.
Walking status: Started walking at 14 1/2 months and was pretty much a pro. She is now running.
Teeth: 12 and she has one eye tooth that is starting to rear it's ugly painful head.
Naps/ Sleep: Most days she still has 2 naps but she is definitely phasing the 2nd one out.
Communication: She still talks mostly in jibberish babble. She says mama, dada, mom, hi, uh oh, and what's that? (said more like dat?). She also babbles a non stop thing that sounds almost like yabba dabba doo too. Interesting. I thought my kid was the only one who already knew flinstone speak.
Misc: she likes to perform the ring of terror on my house any chance she gets. She can rip it apart in 5 minutes flat. It's really quite amazing.
Teeth: 6
Naps/ Sleep: transitioning to 1 nap, still takes 2 sometimesCommunication: says mommy, daddy, dog, and that (as in what's that = all day long)Misc: we started potty training yesterday and it is a lot of work but she is doing great!
Walking status: He is walking, but not running (yet!).
Teeth: 13 teeth, and working on cutting 2 more.
Naps/ Sleep: Usually takes 2 a day, but they are fairly short. On my lucky days he'll nap an hour, but then he tries to forgo nap #2 when that happens.
Communication: DS is non-verbal when it comes to expressive language. We're working on sign language, and he has picked up the signs "all-done, more, and open", and he uses them on a daily basis to communicate with us. He also points to things he wants. Funny story though, last night DH and DS were playing a game where DH would run out of the kitchen and hide in the living room. DS would toddle out of the kitchen and put his hands out and I swear he would say "where is he?" He did this about 10 times, and DH and I were cracking up b/c DS doesn't say mama, dada, bye, or anything, but he busts out with a 3 word sentence. We could be totally wrong, but he had the inflection, hand gestures, and everything going as he said it.
Misc: He's a tall kid, and definitely likes to climb. He recently nose dived out of the pack n play, and he is *so* close to doing the same in his crib. In light of this, I decided to teach him the proper way to climb out of his pack n play, and he now successfully does it the right way, with his feet going over the edge first, and avoids injury.
DD is 16 months, so around 15 months
Height/weight: about 20.5#, 31"
Walking status: Walking since 12 months-Life didn't begin until she started walking!
Teeth: 8 as far I can tell
Naps/Sleep: Usually 1 nap, anywhere from 40 min to 1.5 hours. She was STTN (6 hrs, that is) but is now waking 3-4x again.
Communication: She picks a word and then uses it every chance she gets for about 2 weeks, then moves on. Right now it is Hi and hot.
Misc: This kid really listens. I'm sure it'll stop around 2, but I'm enjoying it while I can.
Height/weight: Not sure yet. Around 20lbs, she was 18 lbs, 13 ounces at 13 months
Walking status: She is walking, can move fast, but doesn't do a formal run
Teeth: 8 or 9 (2 molars are somewhat in but she is missing a lower front ?!)
Naps/ Sleep: Only one for a few months now. She sleeps 13 plus hours, though, so I can't complain. Her naps are anywhere from 1.5-3
Communication: Mama, dada, dog (dah), duck (similar to dog), bear (hasn't said it lately); other sounds: gah, abby, baby, bah. She knows certain animals/items and can point to them in a book.
Misc: She also can take direction - "Get me a book, put this on the book shelf," "Give me that," etc.
She is a horrible eater.
She is really cute with her toys. She puts the animals in the barn/little people on the toilet/bed, in the car/airplane. She plays with the dogs (with their toys). She also found a little "hidden" nook in our great room and loves to sit and look at her books, play with a toy, or eat her cheerios/cheesy bunnies. She loves books.
Height/weight: 23ish lbs and 32 inches
Walking status: running! everywhere. constantly.
Teeth: #12 is about half way in

Communication: definite words: mama, dada, kitty, pup-pup, dora, "beh" for her cousin Belle, nana for grandma. other than that it is point and grunt, shake her head no, and babbling.
Misc: H is very good at comprehending what we say and could be good at following directions. But she's very strong-willed and often will just run away shaking her head no. So much fun for mommy
She gives hugs and kisses, waves, and has recently started playing hide and seek with herself by hiding a toy under her blankie and pretending to look for it before whipping her blankie up.

Other words are Ball, Hot, *** (my bad), socks, no, mama, dada, book, baby and she barks like a dog.Misc: Gets on and off the couch. Loves giving kisses and hugs. Is a very affectionate girl. Not shy. Is a little mother hen and loves babies.
Walking status: Walking all over the place
Teeth: 12
Naps/ Sleep: 1 nap per day. Nights are better sometimes than others.

Naps/Sleep: We're transitioning to one nap now. He only does one at daycare, but it's still rare at home. STTN? Hah.
Communication: He has six or seven regular words and a few signs. Most of his communication is non-verbal, still.
Misc: You can really tell he's understanding so much more of what we say now. Asking him to do something and seeing him actually do it is so neat.

She is starting to bring me books all the time to read to her. She understands the meaning of "two". If she has two pacis in her hand she will run up to me all proud and say, "two!!"
