I just did a Clomid Challenge test - all of my levels looked good and my Day 23 Progesterone level was a 38 which means I ovulated, but I still haven't gotten my period. My doctor said that this might be an issue and that I will always have to use Provera to re-start my cycles because of an issue where my hypothalamus isn't sending the correct signal to make me ovulate.I've been taking HPTs (all BFN) and my doctor just sent me in for a pregnancy blood test and progesterone test on Friday. I have an autonomic nervous system disorder so it would make sense that signals wouldn't be getting through, but this was the first I've ever heard of this.Anyway, I was just seeing if anyone has experienced not getting a period after Clomid, even if they ovulated. Thanks for any insight![This was X-Posted from TTGP]
Re: XP: No period after confirmed ovulation?
I had the same issue with my last Clomid cycle. Ovulation was confirmed but 25 days later, I still didn't get AF. I ended up taking provera.
For this cycle, I'll be O'ing either today or tomorrow, and I'm curios if AF will come on her own (if I don't get KU) or if I'll need to take Provera again. Either way, this is our last cycle on Clomid and we're moving to IUI in February. GL!
I just got my Beta BFN today and still no AF. I just hadn't read anything about ovulating and not getting your period after, so I was curious if anyone else had experienced this on Clomid. My doctor wants me to take Provera and do another cycle of Clomid, but I really want to rule out anything else going on. My blood work all came back normal from last month except a low Prolactin level, which she didn't think meant anything. Thanks for the input!
