Last night on my way to work I started getting cramps. I decided they were O cramps. By 8, I was on the floor at work calling my doc's on call. The doctor said it could be one of 2 things. He said I could be having a m/c (which I don't find to be the case b/c I'm not bleeding, and it's waaay too soon for me to be pg), or I could just be Oing. The pain is on my left side which is my deformed side. He asked if I did anything different for this cycle and I told him I had been drinking POM and green tea. He was very angry with me. He said I could not do that.

(lol really bad drawing but it's generally correct). This is what my uterus looks like. Instead of 2 chambers I have 1 and a tube. The doctor said green tea and POM work to thicken your lining, but b/c of my tubelike chamber it makes the squeeze that much smaller to pass an egg through. It's like trying to fit a pea through a pencil-size tube. He said for me to wait until it's been 6 hours of pain, at that time I need to go to the ER if it's gotten worse or has not subsided. My uterus could burst. I sat on a heating pad for about 5 hours last night. DH got home and sat up with me until I was able to fall asleep. We decided against going to the ER b/c anytime we have NO ONE knows what they are looking at or how to fix it. (a replay of 2 years ago when I was having an m/c and they thought it was just a stomach bug was not ideal). So, this week I'm going to make a doc appt. with my specialist. This morning I'm sitting back on the heating pad. The pain is not as bad, and I've made sure to lay on my right side to maybe help things along if it really is an egg trying to get through.
I know most would think I was crazy for not going to the ER, but after years of feeling pain from that area, having my surgery, I know when it's time to go to the hospital. I'm just so used to being in pain. This sucks!

DH was so angry with the bump last night...lol. It's just so stupid to try and remember everything about it. I didn't even think of the side effects b/c I'm not "normal."

December- Bravelle(3 good follicles & E2 1252) with IUI#5 BFFN

Oh no!!! I hope you're feeling better today.
I'm glad you posted this though. People need to realize that just because X number of people are doing something does not mean it is safe for everyone to do it! Talk to your doctors before starting anything new!
