I got ours from the warehouse sale at Goore's. Still pricey but nothing like they were new. In hindsight, I would have splurged and got one that reclined since I spent a fair amount of time in it nursing/sleeping.

We also got ours from Craigslist in perfect condition with a gliding footstool for $50. The new ones seemed way too expensive!

Ditto Craigslist. We shopped around in stores until we found the features/brand we liked and then waited for the right one to come up on Craigslist. We ended up driving over an hour to get it, but saved about $300 off of retail and it was in almost new condition... You've got plenty of time :-)
