Curious... Does anybody else do this?

I'm curious. Does anybody else sometimes look at baby clothes online for fun even if you don't have kids yet? Hopefully I'm not crazy for this. ;-)

I don't look online but I definitely look when I'm at Target. Especially the girls clothes - soooo cute!

Ditto. I also have more than a few items of little girls fall NB clothes in the back of my closet. Target has had some CUTE newborn stuff on sale this week.

I look at it like this, if we have another boy, nbd we have tons of cousins that will be having kids soon. Hopefully someone would have a girl. So they can be presents.

I don't generally look at clothes, but I do look at a lot of other baby stuff, particularly looking at cloth diaper options.

If we pass the isle in Target, I glace and see what I find. When I was shopping for my 2 nephew's baby showers, I would look at the baby stuff forever and then spent waaay too much because I thought it all was so cute.

This is bad.....I got 3 packs of 5 girl onsies (REALLY cute) a pack of hot pink swaddle blankies, and some super cute NB flower shoes.....for wait for it......9$

ohhh yeah. I even went as far as to buy a couple of really cute clothes.... Dh was a little upset. He doesn't want me to get my hopes up just in case it doesn't happen for us...oops

Once when I was shopping for a shower gift with my mom, I came across this little dress that I fell in love with. I didnt buy it, my mom doesnt even know we are TTC. When I went home, I thought about that dress for at least a month or so. Finally 2 weeks ago, I was shopping in the same town again, and I decided if it was there, I was going to get it. It was, and it was on sale too! It's hiding in my closet.

I always look at baby stuff at target and kohls. I use the excuse that im looking for my niece and nephews. What im really bad about is looking online at furniture, bedding and decorating ideas.

I don't look at clothes much, but I do already have a baby registry at Target and a baby wish list at Amazon. I'll be 30 in 6 months and didn't even consider kids until late July, and this is our first month TTC (I'm 3 DPO and already picking out names...).

All the time! I'm trying to be as prepaired as possible. I not only looks at clothes, I look at diaper bags, strollers, car seats and toys. My DH doesn't like it just in case it takes years to concieve, but oh well. Keeps me busy.

Oh definitely lol. Looking at baby stuff online is one of the ways I cheer myself up when AF shows up. I have a wishlist set to Private on amazon which is allll baby stuff...parenting books, baby gear, stuff for the baby room...

Okay saying it like that makes me sound crazy cart-before-horse Embarrassed But it cheers me up like nothing else!

Yep. I read a lot of parenting blogs for ideas for activities for work (I do early intervention with babies with hearing loss or other special needs) and see a lot of cute stuff there. I'm already making a wishlist on wishpot with highly rated baby items, not much in the way of clothes yet though. Last month I did buy a set of newborn footie pajamas that say "I love my daddy". I was really hoping for a BFP and was planning on using them to let DH know the good news... maybe next month...

I don't purposely walk to the baby section to look, nor would I look if I happen to be walking by. I work at Kohls and it's hard enough for me since I work in the maternity section and walk by the baby clothes every. Single. Day.

I will admit I've got a whole wishlist of stuff on Babies R Us. I've read up on certain things like strollers, car seats, etc. I have bought a few things, like a cute little bookcase at Chritsmas Tree Shop for $2, and a few books to put in there

I am planning on cloth diapering, and I almost bought some Fuzzibunz, but I'm trying to hold off! I can't help it. Plus today I went with my mom and little sister who is expecting and helped her register at Babies R Us. Made a few mental notes.

I've had tons of friends having babies lately, so I'm constantly buying gifts for them. When I see cute baby things on clearance for super cheap, I buy them for our future baby. I tell myself that its not so bad because I don't buy full-priced items, and I generally don't buy it unless it's something that I don't think I'll find again.

My husband has no problem with it... he just says that I better not be jinxing us!

Wow. I love this. I did buy a few things secondhand that were really cute when I was shopping with a close friend who was expecting at the time and knew we were trying, but I always have this strange fear that I'm going to see someone DH and I know if I just go strolling through the baby section in a store so I mostly stick to online.

I actually just moved all my "girl" purchases into my hope chest at the end of our bed. I figure right now its wasted space. Might as well use it. Plus I honestly don't want DH to see how many little girl items I've bought. Even though I've spent maybe, 20$ tops on it. He is very, horse before the cart. He wouldn't pick a baby name till we knew DS was a boy, and wouldn't let me wash anything till I was like 37 weeks.

yes. a couple years ago when I was obsessed with the babymaking, I even bought some gender neutral stuff...like our fave team onesies and such....Which I still have, but not anymore!

I still peek, but ONLY because I have a niece and my bff just had a baby!

so I have an excuse, but not an obsession!

I have before. I'm definetly guilty of looking in stores (i.e. Target, etc.) of baby everything. Last fall, when we first started trying, I found a Kalencom diaper bag on sale a botique that I loooved and want to buy. Keeping my cart behind my horse, I didn't, but I still think about it often.

I' ve bought a few things that are on supersale. I tend to be more interested in furniture, room decor, bedding, and strollers. The big ticket items that I assume we will end up buying ourselves.

I never used to, but a close friend gave birth in December, and two others are due in March, so I've been buying a lot of gifts lately. Now I use that as my excuse to browse online, or every time I'm somewhere with baby clothes...(I'm secretly imagining our LO in those clothes most of the time...shhhhh Embarrassed )
