I let Simon run around the house without a diaper on for up to an hour a day to give him some air time and let his diaper rash heal.  Apparently nobody else does this (I posted on the toddler board and everyone replied that they only do it while getting their LO ready for their bath) but I don't care, I just clean his pee off the floor, we don't have carpeting so it's not a big deal.  DH thinks it's gross.  I just don't get what's so wrong about it!  Babies in some countries don't even wear diapers at all!

    You're doing it to let his  diaper rash heal.  The only disadvantage that I can see is that he might like it, then try to take his diaper off by himself at a later date.

    This is how I PTed my 2nd son. I had never heard of EC, but this just made sense to me (the problem with PT-ing him was getting his clothes off fast enough and he really wanted to PT like his big brother). I let M run au natural sometimes and we don't think anything of it.

    I don't think that's a FFFC. I think that's awesome. It's exactly what the hiney needs! I wish I could do it with Sydney but I am too neurotic. I let her have nakey time in her crib though. Especially when it's already past time to change her bedding.

    Nah, it's good stuff.  We have no carpet either, I let Margaux be NO PANTS ACTION BABY for a little while before her bath, about every other day.

    Wow, I think that's more balsy to let her do it in her crib!  I'd be afraid he'd pee all over his walls or something.  It's easy to catch when he's runnning around the house because he stops and grabs himself and looks at the floor just before he pees.

    Hahaha!  I bet it would be frequented by a lot of the AP mamas though...naked time just seems to be in the same category as CDing (which I don't do).

    We've been lucky and M's never had a really nasty diaper rash, but if he did I'd totally let him run around nekkid for a while. And we have carpeting Embarrassed

    me too :) LO loves it!!

    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
