Since the Chi.cago (hee, hee) trip probably won't happen, I'm sure we can find an excellent doctor who specializes in embryo genetics in St. Louis! (kidding, obviously)
I do like your doctor, it sounds like he knows his $hit and doesn't want to screw around. Now we just need to find your damn socks....

I'm glad to see an update from you & sorry you have to go through all this sh$t. I hope, hope, hope the FET cycle is the one & you finally get your turn. :::Hugs:::
Connor Thomas 6/6/08. Discovered missed miscarriage at 17 wks 3 days, D&C 11/25/09.
Please, please, please - BFP 5/21/11, EDD 2/1/11. Beta@12DPO=52, Beta@14DPO=158. U/S 7/7/11 shows strong baby measuring a couple days ahead!!!
Sounds like your doctor is overjoyed to have a patient with whom he can match wits. Was it Stevenson he discouraged you from seeing?
Overall, I think I completely agree with his logic on everything (based on my scant IVF knowledge). Does he want you to wait a bit to do the FET, or is it a funds issue?
Urg, I'm sorry your still going though this but it does sound like your dr. has his head on right. *hugs*
For PGD, I believe there is concern over the embroyos dying as a result of the PGD (I'm sure you've read this) regardless of if they were chromosomaly good or not and then not having anything to transfer.
4 losses (cp Feb 28 09, mc April 9 09 (5w5d), mc Aug 10 09 (7w1d), d&c Apr 12 10 (grew to 6w3d, mc confirmed at 8w5d).
RX: Overies PCOS (hormones normal) & Balanced Translocation of Ch. 7 & 13 (40-50% mc risk)
Oh Miss Colinda. I am 100% sure that you'll be holding your baby in your arms one day, full to the brim with joy. I'm just sorry that you have to go through all of this first. You'll get there, hun. Keep your head up.
I really, really hope that the FET works for you. It sounds like your dr is advising you well and feels strongly that you will have success. (((hugs)))

Your doctor sounds great. I hope the second opinion will bring you some answers if you decide to go that route. Good luck with the FET! I'm still keeping everything crossed for you.

Sounds like a plan! It sounds like Dr. Verbal Repartee RE will make it his personal mission to get you KU'd, so that's a good thing.
Also, I will never be able to look at Chi.cago the same way again, and I'm interviewing a guy from Northwestern today. Thanks for that.
