Do you generally O earlier, later or about the same time in your cycle on Clomid? I was on Femara the last two cycles and I O'd over a week early! That being said, when did your RE have you come in for your first follie check? Also, I generally have a 14-day lp. Will mine be even longer than normal?
Re: S/O Clomid
I only used clomid once, so I don't have much experience and my experience wasn't a good one. It did make me O earlier than normal (before clomid I O'd CD 16-20) - in my clomid cycle I O'd on cd 13 or 14. I only went for monitoring once I got a + OPK and I only had 1 follie and it wasn't even mature, but I O'd anyway (no trigger). It also extended my LP by one day, from 14 to 15.
Good luck, I hope that clomid works for you!!!

I only took Clomid once. I usually would O between CD22 and CD29. My one Clomid cycle, I think I O'd on CD16, but that was with a trigger. My follies were pretty much ready to O by CD14 or CD15 though. I had my first monitoring on CD12.
Re lengthening your LP, I believe that's a pretty common effect of Clomid, especially if you have shorter LPs to begin with.

Sending tons of baby dust your way! I normally O anywhere from cd18-23 unmedicated. I'm hoping for an early O so we can get our ducks in a row before we leave. He talked about doing a trigger with me. Would that be possible if I don't quite have mature enough follies before we leave?

I've never O'd on my own. With Clomid, the average has been CD 18. Today is CD 16. I went for a follie check yesterday on CD 15 (it was at 18mm) and will be going again tomorrow on CD 17. My RE said it usually grows about 1mm a day. We'll see how long my LP will be, as it usually fluctuates.
ETA: I took Clomid on days 5-9
