1. IUI is $400 with all appts included. $40 for clomid $70 for trigger shot not so sure how much progest is. All in all it will be about $500 for a cycle.
1. At the OB- IF clinic my IUI was $240.00. My insurance covered my scans, so that left me paying $170.00 OOP for the procedure.
2. Femara is covered by my insurance b/c it is not on the market as a fertility drug. My copay is $35.00. My trigger isn't covered, it is about $60.00.
So at the IF clinic, I paid around 265.00 OOP for the IUI's.
At the RE it is going to be around $700.00 for IUIs. I have no idea if my insurance will cover any part of the procedure. I am hoping that they will at least cover the scans.
I don't know what the cost for my injectables will be at this point.
I am in North Carolina.

1) My insurance pays 50% for IF treatments and meds relating to IUI only (no IVF). My total w/ 2 monitoring appts, Clomid, Trigger, progesterone pills, sperm wash and 1 IUI is about $700. If this cycle is a bust, I'm moving on to injectables next cycle, which will cost significantly more.
2) California (specifically a suburb of Los Angeles)

The IUI itself is $450. An IUI cycle with all the monitoring is $1050. I already had meds from a previous cycle before I lost my IF coverage, so I can't help you there.
1. My insurance doesn't cover anything, so for each IUI cycle we pay for the entire cycle up front, kind of a package deal. Baseline US, follow up US, sperm wash and the IUI costs $754. I don't know how much each individual part is (except the sperm wash--that's $175). Clomid at our clinic is $14 for 10 days, Ovidrel is $10.
2. I'm in Seattle. Washington state doesn't have mandate IF coverage, but Microsoft insurance does. I tried to convince DH to get a job there, but he didn't think it was worth it just for the insurance.

Wow. I either misunderstood the RE's billing office when I called for pricing or we're about to start going to the most expensive clinic on the planet. When I called the billing office to get pricing they said that IUI was $2200. I asked if that included the meds and she said yes. I didn't ask (and now wish I had) if that included multiple cycles. She said she'd send me a price list on IUI and IVF. We are OOP except anything diagnostic, so I'm really hoping its some sort of "package" deal.
ETA: I received the pricing outline today. IUI = $635 + drugs.
I'm in southern CA, so HCOL. The cost is more if I need more monitoring due to follie size (so $120) per extra u/s. I'm 100% OOP.
- CD3 baseline u/s 120- CD12 u/s to see response from Clomid/meds 120- CD14/15 u/s to see if I'm ready for trigger? 120- IUI + sperm prep + sperm wash = 260- IUI + sperm prep + sperm wash if needed for a back to back = 260- CD21 progesterone check 70- beta + progesterone check 135= 1085 if back to back IUIs are done, NOT including meds (trigger plus Clomid or Femara)
