IVF next cycle

I had my consult since learning that both tubes are blocked and my RE wants to proceed with IVF.  She did another HSG just to confirm the diagnosis (she didn't do the first one).  I had blood work repeated last week and my prolactin levels are now in normal range.  We discussed surgery, but she explained there is a higher risk of eptopic pregnancies and she really feels that IVF is a better route to go.  We are so fortunate to have excellent insurance so that's one thing we don't have to worry about.  The plan is to start next cycle.  I'm so excited and nervous!
TTC #1 since 4/09
2/21/11: IVF #1 Begins and results in TWINS!
11/4/11: The twins are born at 36w4d!
11/5/11: We said goodbye to our sweet baby girl as she was born with multiple complications and a severe heart defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.

    Hey! So glad you got some answers at your RE appt today. Good luck with your IVF cycle!
