Why oh why won't my 3yr old sleep!

& we are such sucker's for him ; ) I think for him it is the middle child syndrome.  He has never slept well.  But right now he loves joining us in bed.  He say's there are monsters in his room.  We did a monster check the other night & he stayed in his bed all night.. you would think daddy would learn & did not do the monster check last night. He is the only one in our house that does not sleep. Even the baby outsleeps him!

But my favorite quote of the week from Owen after I asked him if I could put him in his own room (I think Owen's snoring wakes Liam up, trust me it is loud), & Liam & Keegan together "Yes, that way Liam's dreams won't get in my head".  Gosh, I love my boys!

    Awww...a monster check. How cute!

    Hopefully he sleeps well tonight...after Daddy does the monster check :)

    Jason isn't a great nigh sleeper either, but he still takes afternoon nap. Maybe that's the reason.

    No naps anymore either.  He stopped about 3 months ago - I thought his sleep would get better - well, at least now he does not toss & turn in bed with us.  I know we need to get tougher with him.  I am well aware that we are encouraging his behavior - I just need someone to tell me that we need to be tougher on him or we will ruin him.  I still keep thinking he will out grow this phase.. but he is such a momma's boy!

    You need to be tougher with him.  Perhaps he needs something to protect him from the monsters.  Dreamcatchers were made to catch bad dreams.  Perhaps he needs a monster catcher to catch the monsters.
