Kirkland Brand Formula

Is anyone using Kirkland (Costco) brand formula? I am thinking of switching from Enfamil to save money but am not sure if it is as good quality. Any thoughts would be great!

Re: Kirkland Brand Formula

  • I don't use it (because I can't find a sensitive version), but a friend of mine and she loves it. Her pedi said that there's really no difference and if doesn't cause constipation, then it's fine.

  • Yep, that's what DS1 got. We liked it, good quality and great price. We will use it again with DS2.

  • I tried it with my daughter (switched from Enfamil as well...) but it was so foamy when we shook it up... and she got constipated.  I read reviews before we bought it... sounds like it works for some and not for others.  Consequently, she is back to Enfamil... and doing fine. We'll be returning the Kirkland brand.. Just was hoping the less expensive formula at Costco would have worked for her.

Same here. We tried it with DS1 and it was very frothy when you shook it up. It gave him a lot more gas than Enfamil.

You should try the walmart version, if you use lipil or gentease. Its legit the same thing as enfamil as i recall theres more in the can. My son has enfamil while hes at our house and when hes down at my grandparents house he gets PC. I compared the ingredients and everything, no reactions.

This.  It was very foamy, and didn't seem to mix well.  It appeared to stay grainy, and tiny pieces were in LO's mouth.  We're returning it.. didn't use it very long, so don't know if it would have made him constipated.

We went with Good Start Gentle Plus.
