C has been fighting naps these past few days. I thought I'd try her swing today to get her to nap. I keep glancing over to see if she's sleeping. As soon as I do her eyes fling open and she's all excited to see me. So, I'm sitting on the couch across the room trying to sneak in looks when I can

    Ha!  I used to crawl into O's room when he'd fuss and reach my hand over the crib to gently rock him where he couldn't see me.

    LOL!!!

    DH puts DS to bed.  A few months ago, I was coming out of our room and looked down the hallyway to see DH crawling on all fours out of DS's room.  It was hilarious!  He said that he had to crawl because DS was watching his every move but couldn't see him over the bumper if he used this approach.  I still remember when we made eye contact when DH was mid crawl (as I mouthed to him "what are you doing?!") and it's making me laugh right now.  Things we do!

    lol....oh that is too funny.  I might have to start doing the crawling method when putting E down.

    one (and sometimes both) of us has to lay down with dd when we put her down now and wait for her to fall asleep. she usually falls asleep faster for me than dh, so i'm the majority. i have to roll over out of bed, and usually end up on all 4's, so i have to crawl out of her room. and if you move before she's out, she'll scream and you have to start all over again.

    she's a hard boss to work for!

    All these are too funny!!  We can't make eye contact when we are rocking ds to sleep.  If he sees you looking at him then you have to start all over again.

    I have done the crawl too!  I have also just laid down on the floor next to the crib until he fell asleep!
