Today is CD 1 of cycle #5. I, like most of us on CD1, am upset and looking forward to some wine tonight.
I'm also making plans for how I can make this cycle "better" than the last 4. (Things were looking so good this cycle, but still Af reared her ugly head!!!) I already temp, chart, do yoga, drink green tea and POM. This cycle I think its DH's turn to do something to help our chances- I want him to start taking a multivitamin. I heard that vitamins (C and E I think?) help with sperm motility. Has anyone else done this? Any recommendations? DH says he wants gummies....
Re: Its time for DH to step it up!
Please! I'm still trying to convince DH that there are only certain days of the month when I can get pregnant. (Thanks a lot sex ed classes of the 90's)
A multivitamin certainly couldn't hurt. If he's open to a gummy, I say give him the gummy. Good luck.

Yup, I bought DH multivitamins a couple of cycles ago, but he was reluctant to take them until the RE mentioned them. Now I still have to hand one to him to make him take it, but at least he's taking them. I don't know that it only helps motility (as our RE recommended them, and our MFI issue is morph), but it should help the quality of his sperm overall, morphology and motility-wise, I think.
Just bear in mind that (IIRC) it takes 3 months for new sperm to develop, so it will take a few cycles (depending on how long your cycles are) before it "pays off."
Sorry about CD1, and good luck.

LOL!! My husband was also shocked that I can only get pregnent about four days out of the month. He's done his part by not using a laptop anymore (apparently the heat can kill off sperm).
